Joyce would walk through the flabby and weak Wallin...

Then explain why Joyce couldn't walk through the small and weak Jennings, got hurt to the body and needed help from the British judges?

Wallin > Parker, hence Whyte ducked Wallin but beat Parker.

Joyce is much slower than Gassiev, of foot and especially of hand. Joyce also has far less one-punch power than Gassiev and a far less tight defence. Joyce's mental toughness, athleticism and durability are at an all-time low, whereas Wallin's never been more confident. Wallin would unnerve Joyce in the stare downs as Zhang did. Joyce couldn't possibly outbox the much more athletic, much more intelligent southpaw Wallin so he'd have to try to juggernaut him and he'd be walking into the straight left hand to the right eye all night, Wallin often throwing with full force to damage Joyce's eye socket and bring back the demons. Joyce would either go into his shell and lose on points or get stopped on an injury.

No arguments from the pro-Joyce camp so far other than "he'd juggernaut him". About as useful as Ismael Salas!

Wallin would probably have him because...

    1) How badly JJ dealt with the southpaw stance of Zhang
    2) Wallin's power is underrated, people get this idea that he's feather-fisted, but if he carried no power guys would jump on him, obiously they don't and guys who try (Gassiev) get hurt/wobbled.
    3) Wallin is tough
    4) Wallin is more mobile than Joyce
    5) Wallin is lighter on his feet and faster than Joyce

I could see Wallin winning on points, I could also see Wallin winning by late stoppage.

Joyce would definitely have a good chance, him tanking shots and stopping Wallin a la Parker and Hammer is possible, but I think Wallin is a cut-above Parker on most metrics.

Must say though it is marginal - 55/45 I'd favour Wallin.

Joyce would stalk him with little fear of what was coming back at him

It's only Zhang so far that plan just wasn't the right one

I actually rate Wallin but don't see him keeping Joyce off him enough to be productive and earn a points win

And I can't ever see him stopping Joyce

Wallin is going to be mostly on the back foot but we've seen in two fights he does well when pressed. Still expect Joyce to win.

Wallin doesn’t hit hard enough to get Joyce respect.

Let’s ask the top big guys who wins:

Fury says Wallin gave him one of his hardest nights ever.
Papa ZHANGO says Joyce punches like a girl.

Usyk and Jennings did. Joyce will respect punches to the right eye.

Parker has always been massively overrated. He lost to Whyte, who ducked Wallin, who gave Fury one of his best fights, in 2019. Parker was 1.5 stone overweight against Joyce with a lot of wear and tear; a short, stubby orthodox plodder who lacked self-belief. And he was fighting a better version of Joyce then the one that exists now after two Zhang demolitions.

Before the Dubois and Parker fights Fury described Joyce as being a plodder, a slow starter, one paced, stiff, lacking boxing ability, explosive power and big pro fight experience, though he did credit Joyce as being determined, aggressive, fit, durable and said Joyce could “give anyone a good fight”. Joyce described 2018 Fury as “the best I’ve ever shared a ring with”, which of course includes Usyk and Joshua.
