He wasnt giving advice to Oscar. Bernard was instructing Oscar's sparmate. He was telling the guy to move and punch like Pacquiao.

This ones alright, certainly better than Calzaghe/Jones which was incredibly dull. These things really need a guy with Personality who speaks good English to make it work, like Mayweather. Hopkins, Toney, Mike Tyson, these guys would have worked well.

The show doesn't have a good producer, no imagination, no creativity its like watching the same movie with different actors.
They could at least add brief interviews and opinions of famous people and people from the boxing industry throughout each episode. Or they could make little comparisons and talk about similiar fights in the past. But watching Freddy Roach having his haircut is just .... I don't know man ..... Its just f***** up :)

These past 2 24/7s should help make people realize that it wasn't only DLH who sold the fight vs mayweather...Mayweather sold it more IMO.

The production etc is excellent, HBO really know how to make a great documentary.

What's lacking I think is the substance behind this fight, there really is not that much background, DLH is boring, Pac cant really say much, and neither talk ****.

A countdown was all this fight needed/warranted.

Agreed. However, this fight NEEDED a 24/7 because HBO/promoters expect this fight to do around 1 million pay per view. I'm very skeptical it'll do that TBH.

Dont agree with that, the show is produced very well. But how much can you really say about two bland characters in training camp, preparing for what is essentially a joke of a fight?

DLH - Mayweather 24/7 was excellent, as was Hatton - Mayweather. There were far more variables then, a seemingly untouchable P4P number 1 against a bigger, former P4P king, followed by a charismatic, confident, inside brawler who could potentially cause him problems.

Complete fantasy, but imagine a fight between, David Haye and Vitali Klitshcko to unify all the HW belts after Haye has beaten Wlad and Vitali has beaten Valuev.

The HW crown being unified once again, a proper rivalry, great contrast of personalities, styles etc, and a very intriguing fight. That would be an epic 24/7, whether the USA audience cared or not. Throw in all the old footage info of former HW champions/unifications.....and all the experts making their picks on a fight that could split opinions down the middle.

Pac-DLH is just a circus act.

It was more like a De La Hoya - Roach 24/7.

VItaliy will talk less than Ivan Drago and mostly about Orange revolution in the Ukraine or how he tried to get into Politics. While Haye will attempt to copy Ali beacuse somebody needs to create action but he'll fail cause straight after Floyd it will look awkward.

The only reasons why 24/7 did well before were
    1) Floyd Mayweather
    2) Roger Mayweather

Those people are not there anymore
    HENCE
the problem now is the show itself and you need to add something new and interesting in it.

I thought Freddie Roach getting a haircut was riveting television.

I enjoyed it. It's fun to look behind the scenes. The contrast between Pacman/Roach's more old school take vs. DLH's superstar approach was interesting.

I'm a sucker for anything boxing, though. We don't get enough boxing on tv these days.

You're right. Mayweather- De La Hoya 24/7 was must see TV. People hugely understate how important Mayweather was to the promotion.
