OK put yourself in that situation ... would you take the money to fight Margarito who really had no cred in the sport and had a bull**** WBO strap or would you fight Baldomir who has the ring & WBC belt and the title of being the universally recognized champ? for the same amount my I add.

There was more lineage in Baldo's belt than Margarito's belt ... Margarito got that belt after Santos vacated it.

He lost to Forrest after he lost to Floyd ... by the way before he fought Floyd he hadn't lost in 7 years. He was more known for upsetting Zab Judah and had more clout in one fight than Margarito has had in his whole career.

Fraud would be the odds on favorite to beat any current JMW or WW. . . so what? I guess that means he shouldnt fight the best possible opponant?

He can fight Ricky Martin 5 more times and groupies like you would be fine with that.

How did Arum take advantage of him? That's what you said. And why do you assume he didn't have a good or full camp? Do you think he was NOT already in some type if training, seeing as he was in shape AND agreed to the fight. DO you think Torres went from doing NOTHING to then train for two weeks only? I mean, c'mon Eze. You have to be smarter then that.

WHy do you act like only ONE of those fights was a possibility? Yes,m Baldomir was the WW champ. But no one in their right mind wouod say he was the best WW out there. Probably the weakest WW champ ever.

Fraud's own motto is "if it makes dollars it makes sense" - its not my motto its his.

He went agianst his own motto and left money on the tabel to duck AM.

Add to it the fact that he pissed away the 8 mill AM offer before Baldy even got by Gatti. .. there was a reasonable chance that Gatti outboxes Baldy and then theres little or no interest in a FMJ-Gatti rematch. And boom, he already pissed away the 8 mill offer.

So the fact that he left money on the table and gambled that Baldy would win tells me everything I need to klnow. You can deny daylight all you want.

Aye man I don't care what you say about Hatton ... before he fought Floyd he was (and still is the recognize LWW champion) a 4-time champion, former welterweight champion, and undefeated.

People were talking about a fight between Floyd and Ricky when Floyd was campaining at LWW ... talking about he shouldn't have fought Gatti, he shouldve fought Hatton since he was the recognized champion.

No one had a problem with that fight until Ricky loss ... no matter what weight it was at ... Hatton wasn't the smaller guy either ... this guy campaigned at 140 his whole career and weighs more than Floyd naturally.

Cotto has yet to face a fighter who's a champion, undefeated, and in his prime at the same time.

Floyd has done it against Hatton and Corrales ... two guys that had the weight advantage on him entering the fights.

How did he duck Margarito? by turning down a fight and getting a fight w/ just as much money fighting someone else with more clout?

Okay now that Margarito has lost and the truth has came out -- Floyd wasn't really ducking anyone.

Man i'm not going to dog Margarito because I respect him ... but don't say that he was getting ducked.

If Margarito beats Cintron (I think he will) then beats Cotto (if he gets past Gomez) then there would be no rerason for Floyd not to fight him.

Margarito wouldve have beaten two champions w/ one being undefeated.

And if Margarito wanted to fight Floyd so bad ... he wouldve vacated that WBO belt and fought Baldomir ... all he was looking for was 1mil dollars thats the only reason why he wanted to fight Floyd. Once he lost, those talks quickly deminished.

The WBC belt and the Ring Magazine belts wouldve lured Floyd in ...

Lets see, Hattons only other fight at WW was a razor thin decision against Collazo . . . Shane pretty much shuts Collazo out, clearly outspeeding and outfighting a fast prime Collazo - Fraud looks at this and says. . . "Shane is the bigger challenge at WW I want to fight him" right? .. .No, he would have to have courage in order to do that.

The Arum deal was a one fight deal, meaning he could have fought his next fight as a free agent (DLH fight) assuming he would have beaten AM.

The Goosen/Baldy deal was not a one fight deal, Goosen overpaid for that match to get a cut of his next fight (DLH).

The cut Fraud paid Goosen from the DLH purse was the price she paid to duck AM. :deal

Floyd bought out his contract w/ Top Rank and it made Arum sour ... Arum was trying to kill two birds with one stone ... he knew Floyd wanted Oscar money and he knew that Margarito wanted to crack a mil on a purse.

It wasn't like Margarito was the best available opponent -- he was just a guy who wanted to get his.

Cotto is being protected for as long as Top Rank can ... he hasn't fought anyone en route to becoming a star and hasn't been tested at all during his career.

His stiffest and best comp was a well beyond his years Mosley. He got Margarito to fight Williams so that he wouldn't beat Cotto.

And now they have Cotto fighting Gomez ... when is this bull**** going to end. Floyd fights guys like Gomez for tune-up fights w/ nothing on the line.

He spars with guys like Lovemore N'dou and yet N'dou gives Cotto hell.

He has guys like Malignaggi looking up to him - while Malignaggi takes Cotto the full 12.

My fault ... DLH lost it to Mosley and Mosley lost it to Forrest ... and the lineage goes on.

what better way to get back at Arum than to take his money, beat AM and then sign the DLH fight as a free agent and keep all that money? Oh yeah, he would have to have the balls to get in the ring with AM for that to happen.
