Tyson: career ruined by a handful of recovery seconds granted to Douglas by the ref. Wilder: career ruined by a handful of recovery seconds granted to Fury by two refs. Lol but...there would be some reflection
Vitali wasn't clearly winning anything. He won the first couple of rounds , and then started getting sloppy and taking more punishment...Lewis was landing ALL the leather the last coupe of rounds, honestly I think Vitali would have gotten KOd clean had that fight not been stopped
Most of the time (at least in recent years) it's much easier to make big money at 147 than 135. That fight with Spence ended Garcia's prime but I'd bet he'd take that fight ten out of ten times even knowing the result. Fair point about Broner. When he stepped back down to 140, though, he wasn't a match for top-level opponents (e.g. Mikey). I think Broner's head was always wired to explode sooner or later.
Sacking Rooney was stupid. But I think letting himself get distract and influenced to the point where he made that decision was his real downfall.
Ricky Hatton. I just dont think he should have tried to change his style by trying become more a boxer. Mayweather did no good for his style.
He started taking shots because he was gassing out. He started strong but failed to capitalize on anything
I remember watching this one live with my wife and saying I hope Word knocks him out after that pre-fight performance by Hembrick. This IS a classic.
He wasn`t gassing the cut effected him and Lewis went for broke eating shots as he was walking in, it turned into a brawl.
