Was I drunk when I wrote this? Yes. Just writing about the stuff that I read on the forums. That is all. Hearns would beat Mayweather just using the jab. Were you drunk when you spelled were?
I enjoyed your post. One inaccuracy is that you stated that you disagreed with most of what I said, when infact you agreed with every point bar one. I feel that you didn't like the way in which I put things across.
Well i'm hardly going to come over to someone's house with a basball bat in order to make them agree with me. If I could believe me I would.BTW i never said that other people 'know' **** all or expect people to bend over in agreement. You are trying to insinuate an intention that was not present in my post. You come across as a grade A ......
boxing isn't dying, hasn't it been "dead" for ten years now? still plenty of people in my gym, still plenty of prospects in my area... still plenty of fights to enjoy. its a mess, but dying? please, whne people stop going to boxing gyms, then it is dead. "Only the youngest and most inexperienced fight fans will deny that Boxing is dying" By this you mean new fans, but if it was dying, it wouldn't be getting new fans would it? go to sherdog or any other mma site, click on a "boxing is dead" thread and notice that there are more knowledgable MMA fans defending boxing than attacking "As a Boxing fan, it was far better when Don King and his like were in control, simply because he would put on the fights that people wanted to see " and ruined peoples lives in the process
Thanks for proving my point, Gif 1 - Beats Hatton to the punch Gif 2 - Leans straight back, relies on reflex not skill Gif 3 - Doesn't counter Gif 4 - Takes one to land one Gif 5 - Tees off on a hurt opponent Gif 6 - Simply more accurate with his punching than DLH Gif 7 - What the **** is Baldomir doing? Gif 8 - Beats DLH to the punch You don't know what you are talking about sadly.
you understand that all apart from 7 even by your judgement have a **** tonne of skill involved right?
DLH is winging away with ineffective arm punches and Mayweather just has to tee off. To clarify i'm not saying Mayweather is devoid of skill, just that the skills he has to employ to beat fighters today are not of a particularly high level. If you watch older fights you see constant feinting and adjustment whereas today fighters are so static.
Sorry mate but you don't know what you are talking about. 1 - Lands a hook while pivoting away from Hattons left hand. It's the perfect blend of offence and defence. 2 - Pulls, counter right hand, slips the right hand = defence, offence, defence 3 - He doesn't counter but as you say in your post its about offence/defence and vica versa. He lands a right hand then makes JMM miss 3 shots. 4 - Rolls with the right hand to take the sting off of it, counters with an uppercut, rolls under the left hook 5 - Second part of the gif shows him landing the right and pulling from the counter 6 - Rolls with the right hand, counters with his own. The roll hides his ride hand so DLH didn't see it coming. 7 - There is a host of offence and defence in this gif 8 - Right uppercut and rolls under the counter hook. Offence blended with defence all the way. You don't know what you are looking at. Take some boxing lessons and you'll appreciate the sweet science more.
You're propagating one of the biggest lies in boxing right there - old time fighters were better than modern fighters. If The likes of Gatti, Lewis, Mayweather, Pac, Hamed, Klitschko (both) etc. were recorded in black and white they'd have you jizzin your Y-fronts.
