Tyson Holy 2 - I felt ripped off shelling out $50 bucks only to see that ******* Tyson get himself DQ'D because he was looking for a way out of the fight:-( oh well life went on..
Anydody who buys a Chavez Jr. PPV should do so being conscious that he's still green and learning. I buy those cards knowing that fact, and I enjoy those fights. .....anybody who expects to see more from Chavez Jr. is not getting cheated by anybody but themselves for making the choice to buy that PPV expecting to see something more! When I buy a PPV, as long as I see the fighters putting fourth an effort, I wont regret buying the PPV. One of the few times I felt cheated was when ODLH cheated everyone by shamelessly running away from Felix Trinidad for the last several rounds, depriving all of us from watching a natural conclusion to a fight! The fact that the fight was hyped so much made it even worse!
hopkins vs. wright **** THAT FIGHT wont ever buy a hopkins fight again the unddercard was good tho (katstidas vs. amonsot)
yeah fair point. from a neutral POV it was pretty dull but like you, i wouldn't regret buying one of my favourite fighters events. even if the fight was a let down.
Man, those are some bad choices made by the original poster. I'm right there with you, though. A few years ago, bored and burned out after at trip to Vegas, I bought one of the Morales PPVs off Direct TV -- for the full $50 -- the day *after* the fight. I already knew the result, too, but just wanted to watch a fight. Anyway, I fell asleep during the undercard and didn't even see the main event. Awful.
Recently it has to be Pacquiao vs Barrera. Pacquiao the most exciting fighter in boxing today... Give me a break it was ****, and then in the 8th round Setanta lost connection with the fight until 2 minutes into the 12th round. Gutted, I was! And I was mostly gutted because I had stayed up until about 4am to watch it.
