I know full well what an S&C does ya ape. Like I said you should all head up to Big Bear next time and tell Team GGG how terribly wrong they are doing things. If he was still fighting you really should have gone up to Froch and let him know in what woeful physical shape he is as he didnt do deadlifts or any weights either. Jeez what utter fking knobheads and daft cnts have we got on here...

If you know "full well" what it does then you'd know it would benefit Gennady, fact.

The world is full of charlatans mate. The sooner you learn that the better. How many S&C coaches can truly say they have experience and a track record in measurably improving elite, championship level boxers? You gonna trust someone to deliver the goods just because he has a degree and has proven himself in a different sport? Not good enough.

Listen, Boxing is the slowest sport to catch onto modern methods.

They still believe in sit-ups for christ sake!:lol:

You put Gennady together with someone like Poliquin or Cressey and they will have make a better athlete. Simple.

Nothing about boxing is simple. If you got a winning formula you stick with it.
Think of it as going to war. You don't take a new technology to war with you as inevitable there will be a massive ****up when something unexpected happens. They have battle tested training techniques over there at big bear that has proven to be more than adequate for the task. You got to be either stupid or desperate to mess with that.

Please give an explanation as to what you think an S&C coach does, maybe we could clear up some of your ignorance.

BTW, throwing out insults makes you look like a child.

    Stop rambling on.

If you put a puncher like Gennady with a genius like Poliquin, Gennady would come out even better. Fact.

Go fk yourself. How do you like that? Before you try to take the high road go back and see who first insulted whom. I don't need to explain myself to anyone. Get lost.

Is that better for you now? I promise I wrote it myself :rofl

A strength and conditioning coach is a fitness and physical performance professional who uses exercise prescription specifically to improve performance in athletic competition. Strength coaches also help athletes with injury prevention and proper mechanics within their sports performances.

Guess I irrefutably know what I'm talking about now when it comes to S&C. What an absolute plonker you are. hah

Copy and pasting the description of an S&C coach from wiki further proves my point that you're incredibly ignorant of the subject you're arguing.

Is it really that difficult to understand that an S&C coach improves athletic performance?

So someone who is malnurished? I don't think so buddy.

Hop off this forum again because we were all happy when you were gone. You lurk in the training section because you know that you would get wrecked in all of the other sections that actually matter.

Using an extreme example to prove your point. Lol.

Why would someone that's malnurished be lifting weights?

Haha. Let's be honest, the only forum that actually means anything here is the training forum.

Feel free to explain where I've said something wrong.

You seem to believe that if Golovkin did a back squat he would not only defy the laws of physiology but it'd actually cause his power to disappear. That's a very strange view to take. Weight training is additive, it's not a matter of replacing anything.
Every athlete worth anything in their sport is always striving to improve wherever they can, there is no such thing as a 'winning formula'. You constantly strive to improve.. physically, technically and tactically. Or you get overtaken.
Golovkin has always been a big puncher (limb lengths, muscle attachments, fibre type percentage, strength to weight ratio, coordination, technique, timing etc. all play a part in this) so how can you give Sanchez credit for his power? If Sanchez was churning out groups of power punchers then maybe you'd look at what he was doing.

And you still act like Golovkin doesn't have an S+C coach:

Kovalev, Rigondeax, Lomachenko also all use an S+C coach and utilise resistance training in their routines.

    Get a clue kid.
