    I believe that Floyd could have walked away with $100m, had he been able to take all of the PPV revenue that was left over.

    5o didn't go into specifics in that interview. They could have pressed him a little harder.

    You're right, both fighters can make lots of money, without facing each other.

    The sad thing is, they could potentially have had a series of fights together.

    It would have surpassed the revenue grossed by De la Hoya vs Mayweather, because the PPV would have been significantly higher, and it would have sold to more households. The PPV price for Floyd vs De La Hoya was $55. A Floyd vs Manny PPV would have been sold at a much higher price.

    The $300m was just based on estimated calculations, from the article below.

    I would agree with those calculations. I think they were achievable. The De La Hoya fight grossed $120m. A floyd vs Manny fight would definitely have surpassed that in revenue.

    Good points, I hope you're right.

    I'd still like to see the fight, even at this stage.

    He was not going to make 100 mil doing a 50/50 deal.

    A series of fights? No Floyd would have beat his ass and that would have been the end of it. Why do you think Arum never wanted the fight?

    No. I could only have seen Floyd walking away with that amount, had he have had all of what had been of the PPV revenue.

    That's right, but what happened with that deal?

    Manny asked for a guarantee, and then everything went quiet.

    Then a few months later, Floyd was again explaining to the media why he wasn't giving Manny 50-50. Look for yourself online.

    He gave an interview to Fight Hype last Oct explaining why he wasn't giving Manny 55-45. That was 9 months after the supposed offer of 50-50.

    It's ok you saying that Floyd would have beaten his ass, but obviously Floyd didn't share your confidence.

    so its all a wash.

    floyd doesnt care who you want to see fight.

    hilarious how he thanks his fans and they buy into it.
