Wlad's last fight was shown live in the US, Haye's was not shown live, or even available on tape delay. Wlad has been on US talk shows, Fox News, in US magazines, etc... none of that for Haye.
Last time i checked .... boxer: Nikolay Valuev 2008-12-20 310¾ Evander Holyfield 214¼ 42-9-2 Hallenstadion, Zurich, Switzerland W MD 12 12 referee: Luis Pabon | judge: Pierluigi Poppi 116-112 | judge: Guillermo Perez Pineda 114-114 | judge: Mikael Hook 115-114 Way to ride Wlads Dick there
Wasn't it shown on the internet, behind sports like hockey? I'm sure one of the lesser ESPN channels showed hockey instead of it. I can't remember which fight it was though. It's funny though because people talk about the Klitschko's worldwide earnings like they are huge...116 countries paid a total of 500,000 Euros. That's just over 4,000 Euros each. It's tiny money.
I feel Holyfield won the fight.....but at the end of the day he didnt!! Haglers win over Leonard was great aswel!!
Haye does not want to fight Chagaev. Sept date changes nothing. Haye could easily make fight with Chagaev in March and be ready for July and if he cannot get past Chagaev then he does not belong in the ring with Wlad anyway. Probably for the same reason Haye cannot fight in April It is not the question of *want* for Haye. It is a question of *need*. Given that Haye plans to retire later this year, loss to Chagaev is going to make his retirement effective immediately and Haye needs his payday before his "planned" retirement.
