I've been trying to work out W. Klitschko's best recent run of 8 and row and it's tight to work out.

    Mormeck
    Haye
    Peter
    Chambers
    Chagaev

    Rahman
    Thompson
    Ibragimov
    Brewster
    Austin
    Brock
    Bryd
    Peter

I think I'm sticking with the ones bolded. Although it could have also been

    Haye
    Peter
    Chambers
    Chagaev
    Rahman
    Thompson
    Ibragimov
    Brewster

Which is a close second. Even though the first one has the garbage Austin in it I think it just nicks it due to prime Peter and Byrd.

Also an underrated one from Zach Page with the ones in bold having gone on to achieve things or on the cusp of doing so.

    Pulev
    Seth Mitchell

    Sebastian Koeber
    Derric Rossy
    Yoan Pablo Hernandez
    Kevin McBride
    Juan Carlos Gomez
    Luis Ortiz

Mitchell is dross though. He's getting hype now because he's Golden Boy's heavyweight, but that's it.

Agreed. That was horrible. It reminds me of when Ray Leonard went from his 147 max weigh-in against Green, then came in at 145 against Duran. Duran beat a very weight-drained fighter, despite the fact that no catchweight was asked for. Leonard was much larger than Cotto, so he must have been almost dead. How he went fifteen rounds, I'll simply never know.

if you include losses, then bhop surpasses froch imo. when you're just comparing names and not the actual results or performances.

    bhop has
    taylor x2
Tarver - now a title holder
    winky
    Calzaghe
    pavlik
ornelas - this was a tune up after a long lay off for old man
    roy jones jnr
    jean pascal x2
    chad dawson x2

Very unfair on Pac there Ice. The OP did mention fights that weren't easy on paper so in this case it's irrelevant how easy they were in reality

    Diaz-Okay, fair enough you're right.

Oscar. Pac was a heavy underdog and it was only after the fight that people started the weight drained talk. Good fight on paper. No scratch that. Awful fight on paper since Pac was supposed to get knocked out from the first left hand that landed.

Hatton-Again, on paper he was the number one 140lb fighter. Coming off win against Paulie.

Cotto- weighed 146 for his previous fight. He only had to lose one more pound to make 145.

Clottey-Solid win against a good fighter. No worse than Pascal, Abraham or Johnson wins.

Margarito-Same old Margarito we saw in the first Cotto fight. No noticeable loss of speed, agression, stamina, still able to take plenty of punishment. Always been a human punch bag, even when in his so called prime. Maybe there was something else missing though;)

    Mosley-fair enough, you're correct.

JMM-The OP stated results don't matter. It's about quality of opponents regardless of results, so it's irrelevant.

I don't think that its unfair at all, its no criticism of Pac, he obviously has a great promotional team behind him.

Forchy is 3 and 3 at the moment against A Level guys-

If he wins a rematch against Kessler then rights winner of Ward/ Dawson and wins that he is surely in the HOF.

Price being made Tyson Fury's mandatory caused an 8-inch streak in Tyson's underpants. Does that count?

If you go back 10 fights, he also handed adamek his first loss too
