It's not a bad run, but there are plenty of holes to be picked in this one; especially Salita who had no business being in that ring. As OP said though, we're going on names alone. Wouldn't have it anywhere near the likes of Froch's run, Chad's, BHop's, Winky's etc. though

No it's not because it's dependent on the two guys who are fighting.

Ward would over match Froch but Kessler fighting Froch would be a more even fighter.

Now despite Ward and Kessler fighting the same opponent the way some people are arguing the case for Froch they would give more respect to Kessler as it would be a more even fight.

But that's irrelevant and hence why I said Pacquiao's own success is sometime his own downfall.

    Pac 8 > Froch 8 Easy!

Manny Pac run of fights is the greatest since Mike Tyson's first heavyweight reign, and rise.

And unlike Froch these guys didn't lose, and these fights whe filled with iconic moments that are forever scared into are minds. I wrote Manny Pac many times, and it was incredible to see the speed and power of the man, it was freak like! Usain Bolt like....people from a technical point of view did not know what was happening. That is why he has been accused of steriod abuse, because people where searching for a explanation of how Manny PAC came up in weight to blow away solid guys like Oscar Del Hoya, Miguel Cotto, he nearly murdered Ricky Hatton, and also abused Antonio Margarito.........I nearly vomited sick all over my living fall, due the violence of that fight.

The fact remains, is that Carl Froch lacks this iconic wow factor fights and moments. I don't know what it is, but great actors have it, great leaders, have it! Manny PAC has it, Mike Tyson had it.......that power to wow people, that magic.

Floyd Mayweather is trying hard to have this magic and excitement, but he is still lacking something.......you can be a great fighter! But not have it.

Ricky Hatton had a really good list. Tyszu, Maussa, Collazo, Urango, Castillo, Mayweather, slight warm up (forgot who but no push-over), Malinagi, Pacquiao. Might have missed 1 out as well. He never got much credit for it either.
