It's hard to say because Tyson never fought anyone with the skill level of Wladimir Klitschko in his prime. It would have been a phenomenal match-up because their whole styles are based on each other's game. Tyson's was slipping the jab and punishing taller fighters in close; whereas Wlad's is keeping smaller fighters at range and punishing them with right hands and the odd left hook.

Something you have to factor in with Tyson is that all his opponents in his early days were afraid of him. A scared fighter is nothing; he freezes up and the other fighters just hammers him. That's what happened in the majority of Tyson's early fights.. he struggled against fighters who weren't afraid of him. Standing your ground and backing Tyson up was the way to fight him. Wlad has the talent to do that, its perhaps questionable whether he has the heart - we'll see when he gets in the ring with Haye.

The 80s Heavyweights are better than Today's Heavyweights.

    1. Mike Tyson
    2. Larry Holmes
    3. Tim Witherspoon
    4. Pinklon Thomas
    5. Michael Spinks
    6. Tony Tucker
    7. Buster Douglas
    9. Michael Dokes
    10. Carl Williams
    11. Trevor Berbick
    12. Mike Weaver
    13. John Tate
    14. James Bonecrusher Smith
    15. Tony Tubbs
    16. Tyrell Biggs
    17. Gerry Cooney
    18. Greg Page
    19. Tex Cobb
    20. Marvis Frazier
    21. James Broad

You couldn't make a 20+ list of the 00s fighters could you?
If you somehow can without including 90s fighters then you will realize just how much the current division lacks depth.

The 80s had depth with stylistic fighters.
The 90s had depth with big punchers.

The 00s basically 90s fighters and in some cases 80s fighters carrying over their success from the previous decades. The 00s lacked depth.

    Your turn.

    Tyson UD Vitali
    Tyson KO Wladimir
    Tyson Kill Haye

The taller fighter usually tried to keep the shorter fighter away by using his jab and reach, that never worked on a prime Tyson because of his head movement, and body attack.

Prime Tyson had speed and power, threw a decent amount of punches, and put together good combinations under Rooney.

:good neither were Holmes or Tucker for that matter, I never understood why Tyson gets so much **** for being feared, Louis, Liston and Foreman were just as feared if not more than Tyson himself, yet no one uses that against them.

    Why?

Do you think todays Vitali beats Tyson? No way dude.

Wlad would get stopped early, no doubt, his defence might have improved but his chin hasn't, and Tyson would find the mark inside 3-4.

Vitali would go the distance, I rate the mans chin that highly. Tyson takes the early rounds and would slow come round 7-8 and would do enough over the last 4 to take the fight UD, 117-111, something like that.

****, I thought I was being kind to Vitali too....

With out a doubt Tyson will create a **** storm through out the division. The only one that comes close is Vitali, and even still Tyson agression and speed might be to much.

david haye knocks out his glass jaw in 2.

Valuev would wear him down for a late tko. I also think Arreola's work rate and conditioning would be too much.

He could beat golota though and probably adamek
