    If you rewatch the Douglas fight, Buster was possessed. He was in the best shape of his career and he was letting his hands go while making effective use of his freakish reach advantage. Not to mention that he walked through(almost) everything Tyson threw at him. I remember at least 5 flush right hooks to the body that would have seriously hurt him 3 years prior and he just took them and fired back. Not to mention the left hooks to the head that Buster just absorbed like a robot. My point is that Tokyo Douglas, for several reasons, was simply made to destoy Mike Tyson that night. You may not to want hear this but Big George looked average compared to this guy.

    Dude I'm trolling :lol: speaking of flaws though. Just because Morrison beat foreman doesn't mean that Tyson does :patsch. Yes I know all about holyfieldf near heart attack I the ring I'm not a ****ing douchebag that sees a MD on Boxrec. The Holyfield fight was fairly even when Holyfield tried to throw bombs rather than box foreman. You honestly think Tyson could box foreman like moorer did though? The reach is far too much IMO as foreman ain't intimidated of your boyfriend midget lisp Tyson. And literally on this subject of Tyson, get off his nuts. Any version if Tyson gets KTFO by Tokyo Douglas. Man was a ****ing machine, Motivated from his mother's passing in the build up, which he rarely talks about and I doubt you knew about.

    No I dont think Tyson would fight him like Moorer, but I think he could fight him like Morrison did and look better doing it. Morrison didnt really box he just circled Foreman and threw punches, Foreman was really that slow. Tyson could and would do the same thing. He would kill old George and George knew it. I talked to Aaron Snowell who was training Tyson at the time and he told me that Tyson was going to fight Foreman and Foreman just kept balking on signing the contract. He used Tyson to promote himself but he wanted no part of him.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol:

    I'm waiting for you to explain to me why Foreman didn't take any of the offers given to him by Tyson's camp.

    I know you don't have a rebuttal or the composure to maintain a civilized debate; so maybe you should go back to the General Forum. Come back to Classic when you learn how to defend your positions without name calling.

    Excellent point. What I will say though is that I feel Ali struggled with Frazier due to the frequency of frazier's head movement rather than the quality of it. Ali's jab may be too fast for tyson when he is stationary looking to weave away from the the punches when they are thrown, rather than frazier's tactics of weaving and bobbing before the punches are thrown.

    I dont think you can compare Tyson to Frazier and I dont think Foreman would be able to beat up Tyson like he did to Frazier. Tyson had a lot of speed and a very good chin, even around the time this fight was being kicked around and contrary to what many think, Tyson could move around and box if he needed to especially with a slow guy.

    Morrison and Moorer were notorious for making the simple mistake of standing in front of their opponent and that was a big reason in choosing an opponent for old Foreman. He needed to have time to set to throw his punches. He had a good snappy jab but his power shots were pretty bad because he just couldnt react quick enough and thats why when guys gave him just a little movement they gave him fits and why he had a tough time knocking guys out, because even if he hurt them they had the time to move and recoup from his power shots. Foreman did a heck of a job for being in his mid 40's, but you cant cheat youth and Moorer lost the fight more on a stupid error because it was going to so easy for him, rather than anything that Big George did. Nonetheless he did it and became champion again and it was a heck of an accomplishment but in reality what we saw for the most part against the better fighters was Foreman taking a real butt kicking over the course of a long fight.

    Foreman (Qawi, Cooper, Cooney, Rodrigues, Holyfield fights) vs. Tyson (Tillman, Stewart, Ruddock x2 fights)

    I think it would be a great fight.

    Foreman has advantage in height (4"-6" depending on the source), reach (8"-11" depending on source), and weight (Tyson 216-217 3/4 Lbs, Foreman 235-257 Lbs... so about 35-40 Lbs). Foreman is also the stronger man.

    They both have great punching power. They both have good chins... I'd rate Foreman's higher though.

    Tyson is quicker.

    Foreman would try to use his advantages in size to win the fight. Foreman had a very good jab and he would use it to keep Tyson where he wants him. He would follow the jab with a powerful short right cross. Whenever the jab doesn't work he would simply push Tyson back and follow it up with a left jab and right hand combo.

    Tyson has his moments but I think Foreman is able to withstand the pressure and land enough of his big shots to break Tyson down by the mid-late rounds.

    Foreman KO9 Tyson.
