Whilst I'll agree they're overhyped and cherrypicking... They've still proven quite a lot more. Knyba hasn't got anywhere near Vianello level opponents, for example. And while Itauma picks on shot fighters, the odds are Whyte and even Wach would still have cruised through Knyba's opponents with ease. He genuinely has zero business being in there with Kabayel, if we're looking at resumes. Knyba is a soft touch choice... Argue the merits of taking an easy one if you like, but for me it seems undeniable that's what it is.
Don't know why I have a dazn subscription if all I watch is boxing and almost every boxing event is ppv. If you're a soccer fan you can have your flatrate but with boxing you pay 25 each event. Doesn't even have to be really good. And how does that work? Soccer players make way more money than boxers. And there are at least 22 playing and the rest of the team has to be paid, too. More cameras, more infrastructure etc. Also with a flatrate you can watch loads of soccer games each week. Granted they probably have more advertisement money. I don't know if boxing needs more fans to watch in order to make it cheaper or if some people need to be less greedy... It certainly would be easier being a soccer fan

As far as I can tell, it's only PPV in Germany. It's otherwise included in the standard DAZN susbscription. If I'm wrong, I'll find out tomorrow. I'm certainly not 'upgrading' or buying any PPVs from DAZN.
Of course he's a cherry pick, but... the man beat Zhang, Sanchez and Makhmudov is succession, and hasn't fought in a year. Everyone is entitled to an easy touch here and there. He was going to fight Hysa, who ducked him. While Itauma ironically ducked Hysa, ducked Torrez and former Agit victim Sanchez. So **** him, he's not deserving of it, let him fight an Ajagba or a Vianello like Torrez at least. Hell, what the **** is Bakole doing? If Itauma is such a badass, he needs to quit being such a puss and prove it, like Agit did.
its not showing up as a PPV on my Canadian DAZN. So i assume its not a PPV for me. I assume it will be free for me as part of my normal dazn subscription.
I don't necessarily disagree (albeit I don't rate Makh and Sanchez as much as some do). Point still stands, though, that Knyba has done way less than even Torrez and Itauma have - it's a very easy touch, as you say. At the point of being an interim champ with a relatively thin resume, I'm not convinced he's necessarily earned that yet...
I have a feeling Kabayel will come in fat, heavy. I hope not. But you know what these heavyweights are like.

This is the Kabayel "reality check" fight. Not in the sense he loses, but in the sense he does not just blast him out and cripple him to the body in 5-6 rounds. Knyba has range, he's a nice boxer on the outside, solid speed for such a lanky *******, and I do think he can nick some rounds here and make it fairly awkward just by jabbing and moving about a bit, doing a poor man's Tyson Fury impression. But does he have the power to keep him off? No, so Kabayel outworks him, and if Knyba is weak to the body (no clue), maybe he takes him out. But I think despite being so big, the fact he can box and move quite well means he does not get worked over to the extent that slow plodders Zhang and Big Mak did. 117-111 or 116-112 Kabayel, but I still contest he's not as great as some are making out, and him and Fabio (who's much less regarded online) would be a highly competitive war.
