David Price. He seems like a nice bloke. I feel sad for him because his first two stoppage losses were against a fighter who was on PEDs and tested positive. Yet the fights were never changed to NC. I root for boxers like Carlos Takam, Humberto Soto and Shawn Porter, ring warriors who will fight anyone anytime anywhere. And I root for people who show class and good sportsmanship like Gvozdyk. I root against vaunted queens like Andre Ward (who was always helped by dodgy officials and always refused to fight anyone decent without home advantage). I root against over-protected, over-rated frauds like Deontay Wilder, and loud-mouthed arrogant prats like Dillian Whyte.
Price is always one fight away from breaking through to the other side. If he can just string a few good wins together
Yes! I’ve always been a huge fan of David. Love his come forward, nothing but fastballs style. Plus, the dude speaks like 5 languages. Pretty impressive.
Root for: GGG, Usyk, Joshua, Lemieux, Price, Pacquiao, Murray, Lomachenko, Hurd, M. Garcia, Thurman, Munguia. Root against: Deonkey, Clenelo, Horn, Davis, BJS, Teofimo Lopez, Broner, Gary O'Sullivan. I can't get behind boxers who are characterized by being disrespectful of their opponents without good reason and/or consistently come across as arrogant, self deluded, vain or all three during conferences and interviews (which is not to say I'm unable to appreciate their talents).
