Must have been a rematch clause, why would Dawson rematch Tarver? Nothing to gain.
Diaz vs JMM I think Diaz will shock a lot of people here too big too strong.
Rocky is only an opponent Luevano by UD.

Yeah there was a rematch clause apparently. Looks like HBO are signing Bad Chad up...

Awesome would love to see Dawson vs B-hop, Dawson probably to primed and doesn't generate enough $.

Makes it hard when you have a loud mouth ***get like Tarver disgracing the sport, by enforcing a rematch where the result couldn't have been any clearer.

Honestly, this match is disgusting. Tarver should be ashamed of himself. Dawson has the opportunity here to get some massive wins esepcially against the likes of Calzaghe before he retires, and instead is forced to dish out another one sided beating.

I just hope Dawson doesn't lose focus in this one, in his preperation. IMagine how hard it would be to motivate yourself for a fight like this. The fight is a total joke... THe PPV will be worthwhile though for Diaz v JMM alone.

Great to see HBO signing Chad, the guy is immensly talented. Looking forward to seeing him up against Kessler.

I don't blame Tarver though. Put yourself in his position, it's another chance at a title and a big pay day. There's not much Chad can do either, because of the rematch clause. Dawson v Glen Johnson II is the return that they should be making.

Yeah i understand from his perspective, still doesn't make it any less frustrating to wait another 6 months before we see Dawson in a meaningful fight.

    Another one...

Looks like Hatton v Pac is just about done for May in Vegas.

Yep... the blame lays with HBO more than anyone probably.

I dont like all the people on the main forum and other websites bagging Bad Chad for this one. Its a freakin legal obligation, he has pretty much no say in the matter. Tarver enforces it he has to take it. From what i understand, it isnt an immediate rematch clause, meaning that he could take another fight or two before it, but maybe he just wants to get it out the way?

Id love to see a Calzaghe VS Dawson fight after it though. Hopefully he can KO Tarver to put a big exclamation point on it, force Calzaghes hand.

Calzaghe turned down an 80/20 split. In Wales too. Bhops wasn't interested. Jermaine turned down a fight at catchweight.

I got that from a very good source. Chad is one bad ass. Calzaghe is a first ballot HOF'er but turning down 80/20 in your home town is weak. And he says boxing is dead and there aint no one to fight. lol.

An 80/20 split of what though? He'd make more fighting a rematch with Hopkins in Vegas.
