A third fight in general is going to delay an undisputed fight by 9 months. With talk of Wilder/Fury 2 breaking even financially, the only winners of a third encounter will be the Team Fury and his 60%-70% purse
Cracking post. Can you post the full financial details of all income and expenditure for the Fury v Wilder 2 fight showing a net profit of £0 and the signed contracts for the rematch which shows Fury has 60% - 70% of the purse for fight 3. Some of us fans have no access to this information hence the request.
Although I favour fury against AJ I don't think it'll be that easy and in many ways will be a harder fight than wilder. While aj doesn't quite possess wilder power or furys fluidity/boxing brain, he can box more than wilder and is still one of the hardest punchers in boxing. The other thing I think will be harder for fury than wilder is that aj punches in bunches were as wilder just slinging big single shots mostly or twos. I fancy fury mainly because of his adaptibility fluidity and he just seems to rise to bigger occasions, but don't think it'll be easy. But then again no one thought the fight last weekend would be!
There are 2 fights left on the Top Rank deal, I forgot he was not signed to Bob for the first Wilder fight. I am fairly certain the plan will be Wilder 3 and then Joshua. The split for the third fight is 60-40 in Fury's favour and I expect Wilder to talk himself back into contention during the build up. He has already started with his nonsensical video today and it will be an easy nights work for Fury and another $30 million for the bank balance. Meanwhile Joshua is keeping himself busy on Ant and Dec's Saturday night takeaway making a fool of himself.
Wilder entered today’s WBA rankings at No 2. If I was him, I’d avoid Fury and go and starch Charr for the regular title
