The only reason why Pac is considering another opponent is for negotiation purposes or in case Mayweather outbids himself for this one, which is what I think will happen. There's no souble standard here.

Most people who aren't on Mayflower's bandwagon generally accuses Floyd of not fighting the toughest opponents of the day. He deserves a lot of credit for his choice of opponents over the last 3 years, fighting JMM, Mosley, DLH, and Hatton. His resume definitely looks a lot better than it did 3 years ago. But, unless he makes this fight happen, he will be remembered as a ducker. Unfortunately, this will be his legacy. There's no one really left for either fighter to fight, and unfortunately for Floyd, Pac easily has the better resume. If Floyd chooses not to fight Pac, he will be known as the Black American Joe Calzaghe. Floyd fans won't see the parallels, but any unbiased fan will.

Arum and Pac will try again to make the fight actually happen, but I personally think that Arum is still unsure whether or not Floyd will make the negotiations work this time. Most Floyd fans can't see how Floyd is responsible for the initial failure of the mediation period. But, if in mediation both parties can't agree on terms, both parties are at an impasse and are responsible for the failed negotiations. Floyd is just as much to blame as Pac. Now that Pac is conceding on the drug testing period, the percentage of the purse will now become the primary issue. Again, the fight will never happen and Floyd Mayweather's two biggest victories, like Joe Calzaghe, will have been against two older HOF fighters past their primes.

floyd gave pac EVERY single demand he wanted

floyd asked for OSDT with no cut-off

pac said yes, no, um, yes, um, 30 day cut-off

floyd gave in and compromised by moving 14 days

    pac said no

hatton video and paper work come to light showing pac took a blood test at 24 days out

pac changes from 30 to 24 (only 6 days)

    negotiations stall and die

What you write is sensible. However, seeing Shane Mosley looking like human jello and the disappearance of Floyd's defensive footwork does not sit well with those who doubt that blood testing does not weaken you.

Here's Pac's stance on video about drawing blood close to a fight... from 2005. Seems pretty consistent to what he says today, right? And no... Pac did not go in a time machine to do this interview to defend his stance today.

Nice try...sorry, Floyd failed to budge from the 14 day drug window. He refused to comply or concede. Therefore, he is responsible as well. Anyone who isn't biased can see this.

he did concede, by compromising 14 days

pac only gave 6, and only after he was shown giving blood 24 days out

and pac got everything, gloves, ring, 50/50 split, 10mil/pound penalty

    pac is quack

Nobody wants to see Pacquiao against Margo right now. I'm pretty sure *****s and *******s alike are aware that Margo is crap. Think about this, if somehow Cotto(he's with Steward, chances are he can bounce back) annihilates (and by annihilate, I mean destroy Foreman) wouldn't you wanna see him against Floyd or Manny at 154? But of course, even the majority of pac-fans wouldn't wanna see a ****ing rematch against Cotto. He already obliterated the man.

Just so you know, most Asians are close and respect their parents. Pacquiao talking to his mother about fighting isn't an excuse. BTW, Pacquiao started fighting because his family was poor.

If Floyd is thinking about Margarito, I would be fakking ecstatic. :p The only reason why people are not too happy with it with Pac is because they're both Top Ranks and say it to be a fixed fight.

The second one is probably a cultural thing. Boxing is a very dangerous sport. No mother, Filipino or not, is happy each time her son engages in a match. Surely she'll be happy after the fight if her son is okay, win or lose, especially after the $40M pay out.
