George Groves won tonight in a fight that could be judged either way but I would contend that the excellent refering by foster allowed the fight to develope, prevented any bull**** stoppages and called the cuts and head clashes as they happened.

Degale can justifiably feel hard done by in a decision that could have gone either way but some justice was restored to British boxing tonight.

two powerhouses in British boxing meet, both boxers and promoters and a justifiable result was reached in a contest we could all enjoy kept fair by the man in the middle. More of this and boxing can become a real sport once again.

I honestly thought he was gonna stop it when Groves head started bleeding in round 11. Well done in letting it continue.

Aside from a missed elbow it was faultless from the ref

He caught and cautioned an elbow and a shoulder, perhaps he left the other elbow go rather than deduck a point in what was an intriging contest and despite all the needle was for the most part a good clean fight.

Yeah, after the cautions you'd think a point should have been deducted though. James is Frank's boy though so no chance of that happening.

I thought he did a good job of letting the fight go. I dont think a point should have been deducted as the elbow he missed was more of degale shoving groves away with his forearm I think a point off in this fight would have been harsh as Groves was quite dangerous with his head which caused the cut to the forehead. Well handled

  9. it was degale leading with his head and he should have had a point deducted for the shoulder.

Watch it again when groves gets the cut on the forehead he jumps in with his head down and clashes heads. why take points off for accidental clashes.
