But Witter shouldn't be calling him out at all. If he really wanted to prove he was the best he should KO the other challengers until Hatton has no other choice.

Witter is a big step backwards. To have the fight now would be a waste. Witter hasn't built himself up enough yet.

Anyone can call anyone else out. Lesser fighters call out the champs all the time just to get their name out there. That doesn't mean the fight HAS to happen.

 

witter isnt deservant of a shot at hatton,he hasnt even beat a true contender yet and has zero selling power in the states,once he defeats a top 5 opponent that brings the numbers will ricky ever fight him!
i would love to see it,but how has witter all of a sudden become better than hatton because hatton lost to pbf!!!!!

People followed him because of local pride and the fact that they could relate to him and he isn't a fake thug who talks about how much his suit cost.

He doesn't have the following for PRECISELY the reasons I just said. He is not approachable and down-to-Earth like Hatton, and Bradford doesn't have the same fanbase as Manchester.

Its been building for 6 years.By the time (IF) they fight it will have no importance.Hatton is a fraud end of story.
