Interesting Witter has never gone into a shell, never been KO`ed, has been proven to have a sound beard, but yet you thinkn his going to get stopped in 6.Fascinating annalysis.Tell me have you seen Witter fight? Matter of fact have you seen Hatton fight?

True supporters? Have you ever seen Hatton fight at the M.E.N? Frank used to fill it to brim with all those dosey Man City bumpkins and casual arm chair fans who had heard about there local boy oop the pub. Yup but there true supporters..

Drexl,my comments were not directed personally at you but were general,i in fact wanted hatton to win (just look at my posts prior to the fight.) and thought that there was the possibility of a big upset. (more my wanting of floyd to be brought down to earth, and hattons likeable personality than real analysis.) I saw a different side to floyd and hatton during and after the fight and i have a little more respect for floyd now and less for hatton. Hatton now needs to prove hes the best 140 man out there. Im not one who thinks that he MUST fight witter because he should fight who he thinks is best for his legacy and bank balance, but it would answer a few questions.
Finally,im not acting superior or hypocritical,i have gotten into a ring to spar so i know what its like to be hit, and i have watched boxing for over twenty years,i make the point of injecting some objectivity to certain youngsters who obviously have no real knowledge of boxing and who just base their posts on their bias towards their chosen favourites. I have favourites and boxers i like, but i dont pretend or wrongfully justify they are the GOAT or unbeatable if they are not... The amount of crap information on this general forum is astounding,in the last 12 hours alone i have heard floyd bracketed with hearns and robinson for power at 147 and that robinson turned pro at 157 pounds.... :yikes You dont think people should step in to correct these blatant errors? I think you are being oversensitive,if your not a fanboy then these comments dont apply to you,simple....

Fine. I re-read my post and it came across as harsher than I intended... I think I was just in the mood for an argument and you were the closest person.:yep

To your credit you don't seem to have taken it too badly.

I agree with your sentiments, but it might be a good idea to address the people you are referring to when slinging arrows.

I try to make a point of it, if I have a problem with someone in any setting I confront them personally. If you generalize and use scattergun criticism, you risk catching the wrong people in the crossfire.

British fans are not turn coats. All you have to do is look at our domestic football league to see this. The level of pride and passion that the average british fan displays makes Americans "YEAH" style support look superficial and weak. Why do you think British fans always deafean american crowds when we are in far smaller attendence because we dont give our support we show it.

The one good thing il say about our country is where fiercely loyal almost to a default unlike the yanks who seem quite fickle in there approach to most things.Naturally thats just my obeservation and a generalisation and not hard and fast before anyone decides to jump down my throat.

    :blabla
was that supposed to be funny or what?

I experienced their ignorance and stupidity first hand. What a ****ing rabid rabble they were....that was at Hatton-Oliveira.
I don't hate Wicky, but I hate his fanbase. Not that I rate Wicky as a boxer.
