Yes there indeed hefty penalty stipulation for dlh & cotto fights but that's because those fighters were naturally bigger than pac and it is given that those will greatly outweigh pac on fight night especially dlh who havent fought at welter for a long time. there is valid reason for that and asking for that is not a crazy thing.

That's totally different thing for asking random blood test. It was an insult to pac having tested clean for a decade fighting in US. Plus, the fact that it was floyd sr who continuously insinuates pac of being on illegal substance since after the hatton fight. Asking for that additional test is impliedly buying into floyd sr accusation.

Plus the fact that pac has previous experience of being greatly adversely affected in the ring for having his blood taken too close to fight in his 1st morales showdown. Floyd fans keep countering that pac has had his blood taken before his fight with hatton BUT THAT WAS MORE THAN 25 DAYS PRIOR TO FIGHT NIGHT. Isn't it that pac wanted his blood taken for 3 occassions, during fight announcement (presscon), 30 DAYS PRIOR TO FIGHT and right after the fight?

Some says that the above argument is irrelevant considering that pac was on tidious diet for that case with morales then and that it will be entirely different with his supposed fight with floyd not having to starve himself. Well its so easy to say coz your not in that situation. The effect of that experience (with 1st morales fight) will always be on pac's mind everytime he will have his blood taken to close to fight irregardless of being on diet or not. It's just like a phobia. No one can exactly tell that it will not affect pac on not being starved.

It just shows pac was just consistent with his case argument. He just wanted to be 100% fit for his biggest fight of his career. Money is not the only thing that pac cares, he's very much concerned with his countrymen who always wanted him to win and by losing it will be a big letdown not only for himself but also for his countrymen and supporters. People who says that how could pac let the $40M slips aways just because of not agreeing on that additional test. Well PAC is NOT Floyd who openly keep proclaiming that HE'S FIGHTING FOR MONEY AND LEGACY DOESN'T PAY THE BILLS.

The fact that it's never happened before doesn't mean it shouldn't happen now or in the future!!! WTF.

Who the **** cares what Berto's doing? Not everyone acts the same way nor should anyone act the same way.

Aha. Didn't know you were a PED expert. I guess you should tell WADA and others how they should perform their tests. :nut

In fact I usually agree with Chimba. But the "Pac shouldn't do it, cause it has never happened before" bull**** is just too weak of a reason for not taking the damn test. It's inexplicable.

Sorry, not be rude but I really have no interest in discussing this with you. I was directly debating a specific point raised earlier and have expanded on my argument several times throughout the thread. In fact, most of my posts counter a lot of what you have said above.

You clearly have bias toward Manny, which is cool, but I'm not really up for debating this kind of stuff with devout fans of particular fighters. Gotta sleep

It really shouldnt happen because its stalling the biggest fight in history. because there is no reason, no proof, no precedent.

Berto better ask Mosley because if its a "special" thing only for Floyd then he just made a mockery of the sport.

Im not a PED expert but you dont have to be:lol: Show me a fighter whose benefitted from the use of PEDs? Or do you believe in hearsay? And yes steroids and PEDs are used for training. Use Google Jesus.

Actually there is precedent for blood being drawn before a fight *******. Abraham (do you even know who that is?) has it as a clause in his contract before every fight.

Im not gonna blame Pac though. He has his third world superstitions, and we have to respect that. I really think that Roach told Manny not to take the fight. "He'll destroy you with his blackness!"

Great. I respect your OPINION. In my opinion, though, the fact that it's unprecedented isn't a good enough reason for acting the way team Pac has acted and he should take the damn test whenever they tell him to. The fact that even Pacquiao fans disagree with the "reasons" you mention is good enough for me.

But this makes Pac's "argument" even more ridiculous. If there's no way in hell he'll get caught and if he's clean, the easiest way to shut everyone up is to take the test randomly.

Probably not as much as him cutting down to 135 was in the past, but he usually weighs around 150.
I think he will be fine, it's Pacquiao that has the problem with it.

Here's some more common sense to ponder on. Courtesy of Floyd Mayweather's own hometown newspaper.

Even in Floyd's own hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan he gets bashed by the local paper for their ridiculous demands.
