    I like your enthusiasm about Ward but I will hold back judgement until he has done a bit more. To me he outpointed Miranda who tends to get KOd when stepping up, beat Kessler who had been exposed by Calzaghe and not looked the same since and beat Green who hasnt beaten anyone of note and lost to Miranda

    He certainly did in the two cherrypicked rounds shown in this thread.

    Reid did start well in but if I remember rightly he faded over the last few rounds, whilst Ottke picked it up to close the gap. In truth it was a close fight. If the ref wasn't a crook, and the fight wasn't in Germany he probably would have got the nod, though.

    Most of the other fighters in the list would have beaten Ottke comfortably......
