A semi shot Ward toyed in the 10th, still won the fight

Why would a guy give a round away for a fight he knew he had in the bag, only to have to win the final two rounds after said round to actually win the fight?

You make zero sense.

 

There's nothing to suggest otherwise. He hadn't exactly been fighting stellar opposition, but he clearly shut out Rodriquez, Smith, Barrera and Brand.

 

Youre an idiot if you think Ward was toying with Kovalev. If he could actually land good clean shots consistently then id agree but ward barley tickeled him!

Maybe Andre Ward "gave away" the 10th round because the judges had already marked that one in for him.

 

Ward is barely 50% of what he once was. No snap on his shots anymore , no right hand , no combos , no intensity , no fire , zero power. His jab and left hook are deflated. His upper body movement has slowed down massively and so has his foot speed coming forward.
He isn't a natural LHW

 

Maybe Krusher should have knocked him out and took the decision away from the judges. Krushing people is what he does isn't it

Yea I thought Kova won the 10th and after the fight I checked the stats for this rd and there was it, 21-16 for Krusher, yet no judge score it for him

He should've went for the kill and not let the judges decide

 

I don't know many modern boxers properly. I have seen bits of the Kovalev-Hopkins fight. I know his name's "Krusher" but that one went the distance too, so I don't know what to think. What do you think ? You think he's a huge puncher ?
