Froch OVERALL resume is better. KesslerX2, Dirrel, Johnson who smashed Green, Abe more decisively, BUTE, the p4p #6 and of course Groves X2.:deal

Scumbag promoters use fights or in this case, lack of fights as leverage on their fighters... Hence Ward is getting no fights. Why do you think he's not fighting? What's your theory?

 

Im pretty certain is the majority of ppl believe that he's been offered fights and turned them down.

Goosen just doesnt want to split the pot with Al Haymon and he knows he's invested a ton into a borish fighter, got him the best TV deals possible (2 mil/fight on HBO) and he don't want Ward to walk away when the next fight is over.

Do you think the Yvon Michael has ANY say in which direction Stevenson's going????? Not a chance. Once Al Haymon got his LEGAL paws on him, he's all but off GYMS roster. Might as well be anyway.:-(

This is the problem in a nutshell with a lot of boxing fans. Why the funk are people deifying Ward as some sort of model pro? Stinkin' fights, no personality and boxes barely once a year.....

I imagine there's plenty of aspiring boxers who look to Carl Froch and the point is that he deserves it cos he's earned it IN THE RING in recent memory.

Your triangle argument for always and forever placing Ward above those he beat years ago is simply flawed. If you're a fan of actual BOXING then how can you be behind Ward...? He does so little of it! Poor ambassador, poor role model.

 

Froch is clearly P4P above WArd now.

 

Froch has the better resume and isn't done yet. Ward May have beaten him but P4P Froch will always be rated higher. He fights top competition after top competition when all is said and done he will be remembered as one of the toughest boxers of his era and in contention for one of the best SMWs ever. Ward will only be remembered as a waste of talent along with Andre Dirrel. I was a Ward fan and I also wanted great things for Dirrel. The amount of frustration I have over the two of them wasting their careers away is annoying. They were the future of the SMW and maybe the LHW division and that just didn't happen. In the meantime Froch is proving to be a true Warrior and true P4P champ who doesn't duck anyone and takes on all challengers. Not a lot of people having him beating anyone because he is slow and they say he just has a chin. He would not having beaten such a who's who of boxers if he was as bad as GG said he was ,who got ktfo. Froch is extremely crafty and sets traps for his opponents to make up for loss of speed and his timing is fairly well. He will not beat everyone but he tries and never gives up.( see Taylor fight) Unlike Ward who is nowhere near the Warrior Froch is. I wanted Ward to move up to LHW and dominate and instead I got a fighter who didn't finish clearing out SMW, Froch did it for him by destroying Bute. I wish Froch well and I hope he take 1 or 2 more fights and retires at higher place than Ward unless Ward goes out and builds a better resume.

Andre Ward might win head to head just like Calzaghe beat Hopkins head 2 head but that doesn't make them greater.

 

Do you think Froch got beat bad? Even if you scored wide for Ward, many rounds were close. Tell me who got a bad beating in round 1 for example.
I thought it was a close fight and think many listen to commentary and get sucked in. Tell me who you had winning rounds 5, 6, 9, 11 and 12. Some I scored one way, some I scored the other, but who do you think?
