AA Might Kill Jermain Taylor

I am German myself and the amount of home bias is UNBEARABLE for me as a boxing fan. It is terrible and I feel ashed for many of the gifted (or should I say fraudulent?) decisions in my home country.

The Ottke - Reid fight was a robbery hands down. A disgrace for the sport. The biased German audience that was booing Reid who was being robbed in front of their eyes deserved to have been drowned in lighter fuel and burned.

I doubt Taylor can KO Abraham, so that means he will need a very clear decision. He can easily take the first couple of rounds as Abhraham is a very slow starter. But then Taylor needs to keep up the pressure, a knock down in the later rounds would certainly help "convince" the judges. And Taylor has to be very careful that the referee doesn't start deducting him points. That's a favorite practice against guest fighters in Germany.

Herr Verrückter Ballspieler, are you aware that Abraham was deducted points for a rabbit punch right away, with no warnings, in germany ? If you want to hint at how poor, poor Miranda was unfairly deducted points in their first fight for a totally unintentionally small head contact and even more unfairly also 3 times for a meager 20 lowblows, you might want to watch the fight again. If the fights would have been in Italy, GB or the US, Michalczewski wouldn't have lost to Gonzales, Maske not to Hill, Schulz not to Botha, and Dimitrenko not to Chambers. Ask Glen Johnson how "fair" he was officiated in the US. Forgot to mention Vitalis obscure point deduction in his fight with Gomez.

If Taylor wins rounds as clear as Chambers did, he WILL get the decision. But if he scenario favoring Abraham happens, Abraham will win by KO or several KDs, he doesn't need decisions like Hoya got vs. Sturm. Even Gevor was tied going into round 11 with Abraham, instead of losing every round like they did for a Hopkins throwing two punches in the last 15 seconds of a round.

Quite often in Germany there are US judges. Out side the last fight mentioned here I have not seen a German Judge....
A couple of times I've seen two Latino judges with a Latino fighter...in Germany.
I was toatally shocked in a "last" Big fight here in Germany, Chambers vs Demetry.....there was one from each's home nation...and I'd not seen a German judge in a German Championship fight for a hell of a long time.
This though was not a real Championship fight, inter contie.....

 

Which apparently are more than happy to accept a free Mercedes or German Fräulein escort as "payment" for a decision in favor of the German hometown champ.

 

JT has a reasonable chance at beating Abraham. At MW, AA used to fight in spurts, which would give Taylor enough room to breathe - I don't think Taylor will gas in this one. Of course I might be wrong and AA might have a higher workrate at SMW, a weight where he feels more comfortable at.

Skillwise, Taylor is above AA, so he might outbox AA pretty easily. I don't think he can stop AA though. However, if AA catches him with a good shot, I believe Taylors chin will fail him again. A pick em fight.

 

Very Good, and at the start of Abraham's carreer he had no defence, but his punches, which was lots wider then.
He has learned much....and his jab ain't as bad as said, but he's short, he can't jab it out, how ever even with short arms when you get in, his jab is ok, when he uses it, which his corner tells him to do more of to no avail.


You can tell haters when they know every fighter that lasted the distance with him, and don't even mention his KO %.
Took him 16 rounds to sort out Miraanda..8 of them with a broken jaw...I forget which round it was....

I actually had no thought of Abraham not KO'ing Taylor before reading this thread.

I expect Kessler to beat Abraham, in the final.

There was talk about him having problems for the last year and a bit.

Right after his last fight, I now know why Abraham had that shitty smile, on his face when he said "I want to be Super Champ and Pavlic and Strum are dodging me. I'm going to go up to SMW, and become Super Champ".

Saurland promiced him something. Sourland it appears keeps his word...If Abraham beats Kessler, he will be Super Champ or gave it his best shot.


Abraham is very explosive....I expect Abraham to KO taylor @10.
Abraham has the better corner.....the better trainer.

Now's the time to apologise for all your biased bull****, dear Booradley, admit you were wrong and put all the possible excuses you are thinking RIGHT NOW away, because:

Jermain Taylor: “I am a little hurt,” said Taylor after the fight, “but that comes with the territory. I was in the best shape of my life.”

But at least show some respect for Taylor, a guy you strongly supported and, wish him well. Jermain needs all the fan support right now, and it seems we Abraham supporters give him first.
