Sam looked to be in shape: six-pack, didn't see that much fat on him. Danny Williams wasn't in any better shape. His corner said he fights better when he's in the 250's. The man gave it is all and I've done my share of ragging on him. But no more. He still gives Wlad fits. I think he knocks out Haye. Give him a little rest and see what he does. I don't think he's through. He takes one helluva' punch. He does need a new corner and please, SAM, :**** on Don King.
The difference is that AA was winnign the fight. Peter had lost every minute of every round and was in there with the badest boxer on the planet right now. Odds are good that he would have been brutally (really brutally) knocked out in the next round or two. The situations were different.
yeah i don't like peter, but i have no problem with him quitting as every report i've read indicated he was being beat up and dominated and there was not even a chance of a peter bomb landing. that said, he should have prepared differently and he ought to get criticized for that.
If you still havent seen the fight, you might wanna take a look on this page: http://www.rtl.de/sport/boxen/boxen_74240.php click on "runde 1" and enjoy
Vitali was hurting Peter very badly, blood pouring out of his mouth. Peter had to quit or get seriously hurt. Vitali had not hit Peter as hard as he could have at the time Peter quit. Vitali is a very hard puncher.
On what basis? A "white" coloured fighter calling a "black" coloured fighter a quitter must be a racist? :huh
Hmm sounds interesting being that someone just postponed a fight because they had a cough. Who was that:huh oh yeah the same guy that is now calling in question Peters honour and heart...With that being said he is right, I dont think that Peter got himself in the best shape of his career, and that is shameful at the least.
Bullcrap, look at the support they showed Brewster in Germany, the cheers for Tyson and many others. Above all, look at how they treat their own fighters and events. Got to love Germany here as they treat boxing and fighters the way everywhere else should.
Seems you're the racist here...all the "nazi" **** is retarted. Germans today (despite a small minority which can be found in every country) are no racists by any means. It is quite normal that the crowd cheers for Vitali who lived in Germany for a long time. Same goes for AA.
