I don't know anything about this guy but I see he is undefeated with a decent KO record. Maybe you guys in the USA can fill me in on his strengths and weaknesses and how you see him fairing against King Arthru Abraham.

Has anybody seen this guy fight and is he any good?

  6. Isn't it ****ing ridiculous that AA is fighting Simon? How did he get this fight .. by being decent or being limited?

First of all, don't look for AA or KP to take a big risk at MW before unification.

Second. There is no big risk for either.

Mundine looks to have some speed, but doesn't seem to carry enough power at MW to make either of these two guys flinch. Sturm won't fight them. Goosen already screwed Paul Williams out of a chance at Pavlik. Winky Wright? Let's see if he gets past Williams I guess. What's left right now?

    Guys,
if Abraham is planning on fighting Pavlik this year then he's obviously going to take a tune up fight. Don't get too stunned that Simon isn't a world beater.

Anyone remember Morrison opting for his tune-up to be Bentt before he got his chance with Lennox? That worked really well for him.

This guys a tomatoe can, but it's understandable considering that Abraham is talking about a unification against Pavlik. Its only talk, but I don't see nothing from the Pavlik camp, so it leads me to believe AA wants it more than Pavlik/Arum.

You know anymore than his record? Ever seen him fight? Hell, Lorenzo Giovani was undefeated until he came up against Raul Marquez. I follow MW fairly closely and never heard of this guy or anyone he has fought. I would have expected him to be at least on a few people's radar on this site if he were decent. He could just be poorly promoted, but I'd be interested to hear anything else you have on him.

Supposedly he's a swarming boxer-puncher with a high workrate. That probably plays right into Abraham's gameplan, especially if the fight's in Germany. On the other hand, I don't believe he's ever been down as a pro, and he fought through a broken jaw in one of his wins, so he probably has a decent chin. He's the only guy below LHW who's KOed Manu Ntoh, so he probably has decent power. Still, he's struggled against some not so great fighters, so I doubt he's outboxing AA.

I have never seen this chap, Simon in the ring. He is a full mystery for me. I will tune in for sure on Saturday night because King Arthur's fights are always exciting. I miss the Smurf Fighter though.

Simon is a great tune up for Abraham to get ready for Pavlik he is tall like Pavlik and as a style that is very much like Pavlik except he does not have half as much power as Kelly:deal
