At present a Pavlik/Abraham fight would not be good for Kelly at all. Casual fans, and non fans who only watch major events would be asking; "Who the **** is this guy? If Kelly Pavlik is a real champion, why is he fighting this bum?" Ask the man on the street about Arthur Abraham and it's "Athur who?"

Compare their resume's and you see a world champion and a "B" level fighter.

    Pavlik KO7 Taylor
    Pavlik KO7 Miranda
    Pavlik KO8 Zertuche
    Pavlik KO4 Pierre
    Pavlik KO6 McKart
    Pavlik KO9 Zuniga

Abraham has done nothing to show he deserves a shot at Pavlik. I think he needs to fight Zuniga (Kelly's toughest fight) after Zuniga wins the upcoming elimination bout. Put Zuniga/Abraham on a Pavlik/Duddy Undercard, give Zuniga a rematch after he whip's Aurthurs ass.

I don't even think Duddy can beat Sergio Mora.

Along with Winky, Abraham is the most dangerous threat to Pavlik in the middleweight division. He is a legit threat but I think Pavlik beats him, tough fight though. Two thoughts on AA. 1 A unification bout between him and Pavlik could be very big if done right. Meaning AA needs to get on HBO against someone of note. 2 Abraham at one time was facing some solid competition, but his 2007 year was a step backwards for him. He needs to step up again to make a fight with Pavlik more meaningful.

Arthur Abraham is a great overrated fighter!

    Great one punch power

    Solid chin

    Average defence

    Average footwork

    Poor stamnia

    Way to inactive

Nothing more than a B-level fighter.

If his handlers and HBO had any sense, they would try to get him on the undercard of the Pavlik vs Taylor rematch...A great way for him to get some exposure

    A b-level fighter,eh!

How the hell has a b-level fighter managed to beat the likes of Gevor,Ikeke,Miranda,Eastman,Taylor,Gardner,Demers,Hamdan,Velasquez,Jantuah,
    and so on?

If Abraham is overrated, then so are Taylor and Pavlik.
Who has Pavlik beat apart from Taylor and Miranda?
No,neither Taylor nor Pavlik nor Abraham are overrated. These three fighters are head and shoulders over the rest of their weight division.

Duddy will beat him and be a greater fighter.

    I agree.

But I'd prefer a unification fight against Sturm, hopefully broadcasted by a HBO BAD show.
