I wouldn't have said that about him if he was set to meet Floyd and let me remind you of something jackass, Pavlik is hardly Floyd nor anything close to his style so let's just leave it at that. Also, you're clearly hinting about Margarito here and Margarito is as one-dimensional as it gets, you have seen enough fights of his, watch some more of Abraham please, if you can't afford the internet connection, Youtube is your friend. :good

My point here is Abraham in general ISN'T one-dimensional, he can switch/adapt when he needs to, NO he can't switch to whatever he wishes but he has a few options that he can adapt to which pushes the one-dimensional judgment far away, does Pavlik have that?, the answer is no. Pavlik just stalks, he'll keep coming forward and can't fight going backwards, Abraham can fight coming forward and backwards(counter punching), that's the difference here. Abraham has more options to choose from and Pavlik doesn't, still too difficult for you to understand?

As usual, you try to twist the topic to something else and "outboxing" is your pick right now, dumbass. The point here is simple, Abraham is NOT one-dimensional and it's damn obvious, you CLEARLY have seen 1 or 2 fights of his and your opinion is based on that and ONLY that. Try to watch more and maybe you'll get your answers, of course you won't admit them here and I don't think any give a damn, but for the sake of not making yourself look like a complete idiot.

That's exactly what I'm trying to get this guy to understand here, EXACTLY that.

abraham's an unknown quantity because he's been a papaer champ so long that people have become cynical.

but he beat miranda in style and eserves props from that.

anyone who geuinely thinks he has to post and say he's that one-dimensional is more than likely worried about "what happens next".

and we'll see sooner rather than later.

:happy, there are too many intangibles that go into a boxing fight. It doesn't just come down to "boxing". At the back bone of any Boxing match is a FIGHT between two men.

    aye thats exactly right.

but the board would get more credibility if people like 'capfunds' - or whatever his name is - actually gave his honest opinion instead of cloaking it with judgments and dismissive comments.

one thing i hate about people who post on forums are those who want to come across with a 'strong online persona' but who never but their balls on the line.

i don't see the point of that.

I personally dislike te term "one dimensional." Nearly every fighter has a particual style he prefers to exhibit. When you have two undefeated fighters like Pavlik and Abraham calling either "one dimensional" is reallynot all that relevant. They are both very good at what they do, and neither has ever needed to really change much.

Rocky Marciano was NOT a slugger.

He was a volume puncher, but he had one hell of a punch.

    He was similiar to Frazier.

    George Foreman was a slugger.
