whats even scarier is that these guys can get motivated for fighting trash like this....they must get a real kick out of coning the public....its sick

these guys have 2 choices :

1) fight easy fights at home and make big paydays against crappy opposition

2) take a paycut, fight in the USA against a respected opponent but risk getting robbed (like Chris John against Juarez)

 

Same reason Jones did, and Pavlik does.

 

Yeah because Mora, Rubio and Lockett are extremely popular and far better.

At least it's Abraham who's trying to make the fight with Pavlik and Kessler is also showing interest in Froch.

 

Well Kessler is trying to fight his mandatory so his belt doesn't get taking from due to all the court **** with Palle.
And after his mandatory he said he wants to fight Froch.

Pavlik...has already tested himself in the deep end 3 times (Taylor + Hopkins) nothing wrong with it....

This is a case where what's good for one side, should be good for the other. I've seen a number of posters (not all) defend it when US fighters don't travel to fight the best or even to host them over here if the money's not right, yet rip the foreign guys in Europe, Japan, etc. for doing the exact same thing. I have no problem with people not agreeing with your logic (which is exactly how a promoter would think), but at least hold the same standards up for everyone.

He tested his self against Taylor because that's a title shot and Taylor gave it to him like he's not giving a shot to Abraham. See the difference in Taylor as a champion and Pavlik?

Hopkins was hardly a test, he was a huge favorite going into that fight looking to impress and force a fight with Calzaghe. The ending was going back to fighters he feasted on before becoming champion.
