who the **** did ABraham beat?

and who has he beaten since then?

comon dont defend these guys....its fans like you that Promoters like Palle and Warren love......numbnuts who defend these guys when they the fights with very little risk attached...

when people like you protest and expect more then these guys wont hide behind verisons of titles.

Pavlik beat the man at middle because the man at middle promised him a shot and gave it to him. Pavlik isn't exactly doing that with Abraham and seems to think that guys like Rubio and Mora are more deserving.

Do you even know that it wasn't even supposed to be Pavlik getting the shot at Taylor?, it was supposed to be Abraham but the injury he suffered in the first Miranda fight is what forced him to stay inactive. That's when Miranda got his last shot by fighting Pavlik with the winner shooting for Taylor.

The only name American in his peak Joe beat was Lacy....and do you rate Lacy? who did he KO to get credibility as a KO puncher???

comon....there has been no one in the supermiddle division for a long time...why else do Joe stay there? hes not a stupid guy....take few risks...and get rewarded... was a great climate to rack up defences.

    WBO Belt+ home advantage+ weak opposiition+Frank Warren = perfect

why didnt he jump to light heavy earlier????he said he stuggled to do super middle after his 1st defence!!!

whhy not fight Tarver/Hilll/ Johnson or another light heavy contender and force a fighht with Jones????

He claimed he was scared of flying...ROFL

    Gary Locket.

For every insignificant belt holder that Jones fought, there were half a dozen Glen Kelley's.

Don't bring this double standard to bear, without expecting people to call you on it.

I don't see Pavlik getting on a plane to Germany to fight Abraham any time soon.

I did see AA come to America to fight Miranda in the hope of luring Pavlik into a fight that everyone wants to see.

Horse****! Taylor did not "give" Pavlik a shot. Pav was his mandatory, and he had to win TWO eliminators, and the WBC threatened to strip JT.

If you want to apply the same standards to Abraham, Taylor, and Pavlik, there's a clear path to this fight. Vacate his paper title, fight Karmazin, and become the mandatory. AA wil never do that because pretending he wants it gets him a lot more attention than getting knocked the **** out will.

Can you ever imagine....Abraham jumping 2 divisions and fight Hopkins??

    Kessler even?

Give Pavlik credit...he was on a hiding to nothing vs Hopkins...he wanted to beat Hopkinss better than Calzaghe did...and failed...he dared to be great.

Taylor and his team already said that they were going to fight the winner of Pavlik/Miranda and announced it immediately after that event was over with in the post fight press conference.

So first you were with Bob Arum about Abraham having to gain serious popularity in the US to deserve a shot, then you're saying he should fought the guys Pavlik fought/beat(the best opponent on Pavlik's record right after Taylor is Miranda by the way, and Abraham beat him twice), we're talking guys like Zuniga and Zartuchi here. Now he has to vacate his "paper" title.

How about strip naked next and go on his knees and beg maybe?

They asked him for the fight and his response is "Rubio and Mora". If you expect them to drop everything they have then you're going too far. If anything his title should encourage Pavlik more, at least he comes in with a major belt to offer and an undefeated record. If he had the WBOgus then sure we'll make a case that it's better off dropped but no and you also seem to fail to realise that Abraham fought quite a lot of mandatories his self. It's not only Pavlik who fought mandatories like Rocket Lockett and Rubio.

Pavlik already fought at that weight before and his fight with Hopkins was a catchweight so please don't make it sound like he made a totally new move to "dare to be great".

Abraham's title is meaningless, and considering his resume' his zero is worth little. He CLAIMS he wants a fight. There is a clear path to that fight, become the mandatory, but Sauerland/Abraham show no interest. Karmazin has called AA out repeatedly. Beating him would make AA Pavlik's next WBC mandatory. However, calling Kelly out repeatedly is worth more, far more, than losing to him will be. I fully expect Sauerland/Abraham to stay on their present course, steady as she goes. A team that ducked Zuniga and Wright is NEVER going to actually make a fight with KP.

    Wait,
Kessler would have known the problems with Palle when signing with him.
Mads Larsen had the same problem when he was with Palle.
Kessler opted to go with the guy, no one forced him.

That's why none of them are really historically elite. They are good fighters content to fight lesser fighters/athletes. They are essentially modern era hometown fighters with (mostly) heavily partisan fans that would rather only watch them win whether against a lesser foreign athlete or a local athlete than risk losing to others.

    Calzaghe 150-200 all time
Kessler stands behind Calzaghe along side comparable guys like Sven Ottke and perhaps Arthur Abraham (when it is all said and done).

    Cut the bull**** please.

First you were arguing how Abraham should become popular in the states, fight Zuniga and Zartuche, have more fights in the US and now you want him to drop his title which all of a sudden becomes meaningless in your imaginary world.

You know what's meaningless, it's Pavlik's title defenses and watching you talk smack about Abraham's choice of opponents while praising/defending Pavlik fighting guys like Lockett and Mora.

The fight with Abraham is the fight anyone that has eyes on the MW division wants. You being against that fight proves you're a Pavlik fan and definitely hating the fact that Abraham is the one showing interest in fighting him with Pavlik turning his back on it and publicly.

Do you even know what Pavlik had in plan if it wasn't for the Hopkins fight coming up and HBO turning down his ass?, he was going to fight Mayorga. Roll that and smoke it please before talking about Abraham's opponents.
