Nah, he really couldn't have, most times he came forwards, Froch battered him back, Abraham was doubling over from body shots, his knees were buckling all the time, he did everything he could, fought as he usually does, but was getting hurt every time he came out of his guard, so he had to go back in and rethink.
didnt see the fight but it sounds really one-sided to froch. congrats to him. maybe he is as good as he keeps telling people:think but was aa really that bad or did froch just make him look that way
Yeh surprised to see it so one-sided. AA really showed how limited he is. Pretty clear he was only able to get this far with his power alone. All he was doing was throwing wild haymakers and displayed absolutely no boxing ability whatsoever. Good performance by Froch, but I wish the guy would just shut the **** up about being robbed against Kessler. Yes the fight was close, but Kessler did more than enough to get the decision.
I actually thought Froch beat Kessler. But Dirrell clearly beat Froch so he shouldn't complain too much, hometown fighter seems to get the nod in close fights.
Although I think the fight should have been scored a little closer than the 117-111 scoreline, I definitely think Kessler hurt Froch more than vice versa. One thing people overlooked in that fight is the body shots Kessler repeatedly landed in the earlier rounds. Kessler was able to soften Froch up (and had him badly hurt at one stage in the latter rounds) from the initial body attack.
Yeah I agree that Kessler hurt him more with those body shots but I had Froch winning more rounds. I think Bute would stop Froch with a bodyshot if that fight ever happened.
hahaha good one. You showed us up with your witty remark based on the factual evidence of the poll haha nice one
I'll eat my words. I thought Abraham would win easy. Maybe I have over estimated Abraham & definately have not given Froch his dues. He took Abraham to school.
