I thought Pavlik wasn't gonna move up for a while? Pavlik vs Abraham at SMW would be great. The real issue is that if they move up at SMW, Abraham and Pavlik isn't the best fight anymore. I'd much prefer Pavlik vs Bute or Pavlik vs Kessler or Abraham vs Kessler or Abraham vs Froch and such and such.
He ought to go after Froch. I'd back AA to the hilt on that one. Go back and watch the first 2 rounds of Taylor/Froch and try to imagine that's Arthur landing those right hand bombs!

Abraham ducked Winky. Why? He should have fought someone with a big name like Winky in the United States! Abraham's promoter's never made a real offer to Sturm either. They just sent the statement to the news without actually offering anything to Sturm. Sturm wants the fight, Abraham doesn't.

The same COULD be said about their "negotiations" with Team Pavlik.:yep Pavlik spoke plenty about this on ON THE GRIND RADIO, as a guest a week or two ago.

Winky claimed he wanted a shot at KP, but turned down a very reasonable offer, and went after AA. Sauerland offered Winky substantially LESS than he already turned down for KP. And yes, I call that a duck. It's Winky Wright for Christ sakes. You don't low ball winky and expect to get anywhere! I keep saying this, but few seem to get it: If you claim you want Pavlik, what opponent makes more sense; Fulgencio Zuniga or Elvin Ayala? Winky Wright or LuJaun Simon? Paul Williams or Mahir Oral? Sauerland is just using Pavlik's name to draw attention to Abraham. If I'm wrong, then the choices they've made so far make no sense whatsoever.
Big Bone is not a real hater. He just likes to fuss and fight. I suspect he'll eventually go the way of TFFP and become a fring member of The Pavlik Nation. But that won't happen until Kelly runs over Abraham, and even then he'll spend a month or two crying about Arthur being weight drained.
