How did Abraham's power improve from the first fight ... he didn't do anything different from the first fight ... he started off the same way and actually caught Miranda with a simular punch to start off his onslaught.

It was just that Pavlik took Miranda's heart away and it showed after that first knockdown.

Miranda didn't even fight back as he did against Pavlik - he caved in ... he backed up and left himself open so that he can suffer the same way he did against Pavlik.

Same thing goes for Hatton .... he almost got beat by a fringe contender because the thought of PBF was in his train of thought.

No one ever gets over that KO loss ... you would have to be a super confident cat to get over such a devastating defeat.

He didn't fight back because he was hurt and wobbly after the first knockdown, pretty clear there don't know where you're coming up with that nonsense. Also when Pavlik hurt him bad the first time Miranda didn't do much of anything because he was still dazed and just went to the ropes and took more punches till he was stopped.

Not saying the Pavlik loss had no effect, of course it had but Miranda was also doing very good in that fight, being active...etc charging in with bombs trying to get Abraham's attention. Miranda fought the way he always does till he got caught, if he came in and was blown out in round 1 then I'll agree with you but that wasn't the case.

Watch the fight again ... you'll see a difference in Miranda from the first Abraham fight to the second Abraham fight and see the Miranda that fought Pavlik and Allan Green.

He fought back against Pavlik even when he was dazed and was still throwing punches at the time of the stoppage.

Against Green it was more of a flash knockdown than anything, he was caught unexpectedly and hit the canvas then got back up fine. Pavlik was all over him with bombs and actually hurt him with a body shot in the first round as well but wasn't good enough to finish him. When he was hurt he was backing off the ropes welcoming more punches from Pavlik and the punches he threw hardly had any power behind them, he was just too dazed and needed the ropes to stand up. In the rematch with Abraham even HE admitted that Abraham's punches were far stronger at this weight and he couldn't take them, he was caught flush and was out of it, he threw a punch when he got up, missed and was caught again..etc, it was more Abraham's power than Miranda being "shot" because let's face it, Miranda was well known for not being able to take punches well and the Eastman fight proves it well.

He was still dazed from the first straight right.

This one a definition of going for the kill. Miranda's chin is not grade A china - as he actually got up from this one - to be put down for good.

the only reason pavlik beat lockett was because locket was softend up when battered by tsarenko.
