Many Germans today have learned from the School of Ottke, same borring style, only does just enough to win.

AA is diffrent: He has power!

You talk **** mate. How can you hate on him when he is unbeaten, powerful and winning by highlight reel KO's. Oh because he has a very tight defence and only opens up when he attacks. People like you **** me off, Froch is like Abraham but without the defence and people slag him, but he is unbeaten too, how about giving respect where deserved. And...... why do people moan about him being boring, isnt boxing about hitting and not getting hit???????????????

Having a high guard is amateurish now.

I take it all you guys have prime Roy Jones reflexes and a mean shoulder roll.

Taylor looked shell-shocked in the ring...if i saw a guy hiding behind gloves like that i would instantly jump right at him..but maybe Taylor knew he was shot and was just trying to survive 12 rounds...it kinda looked that way

AA has power, but he obviously doesnt like being hit to the body.

His fight plan worked well, complain about low blows, get JT a deduction and Jermaine would eventually stop going to the body. With JT going to head AA was easily blocking and doing it effectively.

A good solid body puncher and fighting outside of germany is the way to beat AA.

    And obviously avoiding his bombs.

Couldn't dissagree more. Abraham style is perfect and exciting because his defense is used to complement his offense -wearing his oppoenents down then knocking them down. Pavlik would have been beaten by AA had they met in my opinion. AA would out think him and ko him late in the fight.

Which allowed about 15-20% of Taylor's shots getting through. :yep

Does Winky Wright, regarded as one of the finest defensive masters, have an amateurish style too, because he holds both his hands up high? :think

Froch will beat Abraham. Froch is the physically stronger man (although he may not hit as hard) and will use this to establish ring position and beat AA to the punch. Taylor just never posed any threat.

it's not only a high guard...it's a double high guard

nah but it's heavily used by amatuers boxers you might think a pro could mix it a bit more than AA does.

And it's not the only way you can defend yourself there's way more types of defending yourself ...and I know you know that's as well TFFP.
