I will watch them but i really don't care, most of the time i'm flicking between channels up until the main event. I like listening to the pundits.......debating the main event. I enjoy that more than watching some no marks fighting on a undercard.

Undercard fights have a purpose, but i'm not really that fussed about them.

It's how you learn about up and coming fighters. I just like watching a good fight no matter who's in it.

I will pay attention, don't get me wrong.

But most of the time, my soul attention is on the big fight. I will be flicking through channels, and reading on eastside boxing......

Walking about the house, and fidding about.

I always want the up and coming fighter to get beat, in the undercard fights......if i don't like the look of them.

I remember watching Miguel Cotto's brother, nearly upsetting that Mexican kid with the red hair..??? i think it was on the Mayweather vs Mosley undercard.

I did'nt like him, because he did'nt look mexican.

It's like going to see a band and not watching the warm up act.

Sometimes you get to see great up and coming acts.

I think I've seen three or four support acts ever who weren't a waste of time. And all were established acts (Ian Brown, PJ Harvey).

But boxing's different - the best fight's often on the U/C.

Lol I saw Mumford and sons support the pogues at christmas in 07 or 08.

Once saw the killers support before they were big. and also Kings of Leon.

I agree, the best fight is normally on the undercard.

In an ideal world this fight should have at least an world title eliminator and a european title fight as it chief support and a couple of brit title fights as well. Realistically we'll get Groves v some afro bum as chief support and a couple of mismatches.

Also thot the title of this thread was "Acceptable undercard for Haye vs Harrison" not "Rob and Boxing girl bitchfest" or "Wlad had never avoided any1 ever ever ever"

Each to their own I suppose. But I much prefer watching the undercard than listening to the pundits.

I like listening to interviews with the fighters, but not the bits where they just sit around a table and discuss the fights. I do that all week on here, when it's show time I just wanna see some fightin!

I would like to see Craig Mcewan involved against a top 20 fighter.
