According to GGG haters 75-25 purse bid is unfair to Jacobs but Ward's 71-29 split to Kovalev is ok

This is why Kov is my favorite fighter. As for GGG I was real high on him. After the Wade fight I started losing interest. If Jacobs fight falls through, and he stays at 160 fighting Heiland and Tureano Johnson then he'll simply become a fighter I enjoy watching

You will be surprised how much fanboys say ''ggg is the champion why should he take anything other than 40% or half"

In my opinion GGG should take a leaf out of Krushers book, get in there make a career high payday, try and beat the biggest name in boxing and then try get the rematch to make an even bigger payday, then your set for life.

Unfortunately, Kkkovalev isn't about his business like Ward is.

    Triple G/Jacobs is completely different.

Jacobs best win is > triple g's best win too. So I wouldn't say taking advantage, literally at all, because triple G became this boogeyman by beating jobbers.

Don't get it twisted. Boxers are f'ing fighters, there is a rare instance where a boxer is legit 'afraid' to fight another boxer.

Kkkovalev has been getting bent over by Duva and main events for quite some time--he got like $450k when he fought B-Hop.

Conversely, Ward is about his business. Why many were laughing at him for his lengthy inactivity, he was getting his business correct. Since July 2015 Ward has prolly made pre-tax about $12MM. Oh yeah he got kovalevs scalp in that time period as well.

Triple G isn't going to do that. They rejected $10MM to fight Canelo. He gets paid $2MM every time he fights. Triple G is about his business, and props to him for getting that $$$. However, unless **** changes, his 'reputation' will always look funny af.

It's all good being about your business but when your resume looks like the who's who list of a homeless shelter you need to think about getting some good names. Ward at least fought some real comp before he started making the big bucks, so did Canelo.

All I'm saying is GGG clearly has been ducked in his division but the guys he was tryna beat up on except for Canelo are guys he was an overwhelming favourite to beat anyway.

He's happy with 17% against Canelo, honestly that is a perfectly reasonable demand. His management know that he can't demand 40%, unlike some of his fans.

17% is less than his deserves, he should get 25-30%, this is the first I've heard about 17% where did you read this? Any chance you can link me coz if it's true than I'll take back what I said.

    chitownfightfan posted it here:

Not everyone will believe him of course, but IMHO he's a good poster and I see no reason to doubt.

The plain fact is that GGG still gets far more $$$ at 17% than anyone else at 160 lb gives him, it's in his interest to accept a Canelo fight at 17% (even though he does deserve more).

I'm not gunna say his lying but until I see it in boxing-scene I'll treat it with skepticism.
Now with that being said if he makes more than 10 mil good for him but in my opinion 10 mil is life changing money and if he beats him and he can arrange the rematch he can get more depending on how good the fight is. Why wait if you think you can beat him easily just do it, it will be like taking candy from a baby according him and sanchez.

I don't think it'll be that easy to beat Canelo.

Anyway, let's see what happens, I'm feeling that it will be made for $10 million + ppv upside.

There's just a ton of things to negotiate, from promotion to undercard fights to network deals in various countries, but I expect it will be signed.

I think it's competitive too if Canelo fights with heart but if he goes in there in survival mode it will be easy work for GGG and he will get stopped.

Your optimistic fan I'll give you that hopefully your right I think boxing needs a fight like this whilst it's still ripe to help it boost it's reputation after the May-pac fiasco, I think we will see the same thing of years of delay then the fight will be signed when neither guys are the same.
