Slightly? The power and precision of the shot nearly knocked his block off.

Guerrero really impressed me, Kats is no slouch but Guerrero was in control most of the fight. The ref ruined the fight a bit when it seemed like Kats could be about to start fighting back.

Keiji wouldn't last 2 minutes in Ishida's world.

Hasegawa had 7 KO's in 25 fights before he went on a KO streak...

Ishida has Julian Jackson-esque power, but has always held back waiting for that big chance on the global stage. Don't be fooled by his record on paper :deal

 it was a nice shot wouldn't say it nearly knocked his block off (didn't make me go wow!!! like some KD Punches do) but it wasn't glancing like a clip it had good power not like Rubio's punch on Lemieux which glanced in best possible place. He snapped the neck muscles of Kirkland real quick and stunned him badly thus leading to two further knockdowns.

Maidana : I agree mostly, except for dedication. I think you can see this guy really wants it, but when it comes to it, he's just a 1 dimensional brawler. Expect him to fizzle away to nothing by the end of '12.

Morales : Every great fighter has one great fight left in him. I think this was it for him, he should rematch Maidana, and end (hopefully) a glittering career with a win.

Guerrero : Just simply dont like him. But he's a Top 5 Lightweight for sure.

Katsisdis : He needs to get a big fight back now, or call it a day. He's taking beatings of late.

Paulie : Good win for him, chuffed for him.

    Kirkland : Glass chin?

Was Maidana's performance really a surprise to anybody? If Morales has enough left to hang in there, he was always going to have a relatively easy time with Maidana's telegraphed lunging shots, and get some licks in himself with Marcos' poor defense.

I dont think there was anything wrong with hims preparation for the fight. He was basically just swinging for the fences for the entire fight, he was bound to look tired at times. He threw a couple of hundred more punches than the Khan fight, and finished strong, I think his prep was fine.
