At Cage Warriors: 'Young Guns' on October 1st, the MMA Clinic's Adam Edwards (2-1) impressed in his first bout in five years, by defeating hot prospect Josh Ramage (3-2) by Submission due to triangle choke after just 3:02 of action. Adam was happy with his showing, and is now aiming for the stars.

    A couple of taster questions:

What do the losses of Hardy and Hathaway mean for MMA in the UK deano?

I've heard the casual fans had a rough night of it and were pretty disappointed after the event.

Apparently, live the show wasn't much of a spectacle... None of the fights were particularly inspiring apart from Bisping, and when Hardy got KTFO, the place went SILENT. Hardy's still a draw over here and very popular, but his aura might just be gone now... He's going to have to work hard to get himself in a top ten position again now.

With regards to Hathaway, I think that was the most surprising result of the night...After blowing through Sanchez, I think everyone thought Pyle would prove to be a breeze, but it wasn't to be...He still could be the real deal, but Hathaway doesn't have the charisma anyway, so it's not like he's a mainstream loss yet.

Bisping saved the day in a way though. As much as people love or hate him, he delivered the goods when the pressure was on against a very good opponent. He'll be in a big fight for sure next I reckon.

With Hardy though, I'd heard rumours Hardy vs. Hathaway was next if they both won...looks like that's out the window now lol :O
