in the post fight interview with watson and rees. i normally ignore petty things like this but it really pissed me off.

it was disrespectful. rees big moment after a hard fight, spotlight should of been on him, not a Sky advert for there mega mismatch next week.

Yeah said in another thread had to laugh when ever they asked someone and the person ''replied Haye..'' in a way like ''piece of ****'' they would move right away to someone else hoping they say ''Audley's gonna whoop Haye's arse stupid..''

Even worse when your asking John Watson who has worked with Haye....

Yes. **** Sky for asking boxers whose purses depend on sky tv money to spend a few seconds promoting next week's ppv. Damn them to hell.

Yeah, definitely agree with this. The focus should have been 100% on Rees and even Watson for the great battle they had put on for the fans (certainly a better battle than Haye-Harrison will be). Theres probably been 100 hours of Haye-Harrison hype footage from Sky the past few months, no need to add more in when doing post fight interviews for fights and fighters with no connection to Haye, Harrison or the HW scene.

I'm sure their questions caused a stampede for ordering it.

Adam Smith is just a complete and utter idiot, full stop.

I just wish Sky bulleted the ****er and let someone good run the coverage.

I'm glad a few others noticed this. What a ridiculous question to ask two fighters at the end of a fight like that!? Shameless plug for the PPV. It would have been funny if one of them had just responded with "I couldn't care less to be honest".

  10. Totally agree.

The look on Rees and Watson's face when he asked them said it all.

    Shameless stuff from SKY.:verysad

But don't blame Smith, for he's just an inanimate puppet.

Its only when Jim Watt shoves his hand up Smith's arse and starts working the controls, that the puppet comes to life and starts asking his crap questions, and spewing forth his substandard commentary ("I agree with you Jim, you're my ****ing hero", "Yes Jim, I think Rendal Munroe definitely took a share of that 5th round with Nishioka", "Spot on Jim, those certainly appeared to be arrrrummmm punches alright").

    So, blame Jim Watt.:deal

    Or....

''It's a shocking mismatch, they are a pair of money grabbing ****s and your bosses should be embarrassed charging £15 a pop''

Let's say it how it is

I'd love to hear Smith's response to that. I can't actually believe he asked them about Haye/Harrison. It just came from knowhere. You could tell Rees and Watson were thinking, what the ****?

I agree - he asked two short questions about the absolute war they gave us and then it was what do you think of Haye-Harrison. Crass. Rees and Watson earned more respect than that.

But, it is probably unfair to target Smith, as he was probably directed to drop a Haye-Harrison angle in the interview. And overall, I must say I have warmed to Smith - he has been excellent anchoring Ringside.
