Pretty much, I don't see how anyone can pick Adamek to win this fight, especially if one is basing it on Adamek beating an extremely shot fighter like Golota.
Well, if Arreola knocks on Chef's door, then I pick him. Seriously, he has made noise before about taking his conditioning seriously but didn't follow through. Did he learn his lesson against Vitali?
Underneath the flab is a just a tough tall Mexican, and IMO not a good match for Adamek, who is solid in and out.
Wrong move for Arreola. He shouldn't be fighting up and coming heavyweights with only a couple of wins. At this point Arreola should only fight boxers in the top 15. If Arreola loses, he drops out the top 10 which will effectively damage his chances of fighting for the title any time soon.
I like Adamek, and his improbable run as HW is terrific stuff, but he needs to stay the hell away from three heavyweights: Wladimir Klitschko, Vitali Klitschko, and David Tua. :yep
Wow. Either he's been with Arreola hyping the fight at Wendy's, or he's been hanging out with Pacquiao.
Really, this could go either way. I will be optimistic and say Adamek. Given that Arreola followed up the Vitklit fight by coming in 12 pounds heavier, its pretty apparent that he isn't going anywhere. Might as well hope for the guy who actually comes to win.
That gets thrown around way too much. Bigger and stronger doesnt win you a fighter When you are the larger, physically stronger fighter, and you have skills at least equal to that of the smaller fighter, then yes, you have an advantage However, when the smaller man is more skilled in comparison to you, then size and strength can be negated. Adamek is the more well rounded of the two. Faster hands, cleaner punching technique, and has fought better competition Arreola despite his size and strength, he is overweight and heavy on his feet. He does possess excellent stamina, but his excessive bulk makes him clumsy, and he isnt difficult to hit. Frankly I wonder if his chin will still be as good after the shellacking from Vitali. He may have got his punch resistance degraded
Maybe, but he has chin & heart & power. Christobal is difficult to put down, even Vitali could not drop him. This is HW - winning five early rounds on points does not make you a winner. Chris needs only few solid hits to shake Adamek.
