I'll watch the fight in an hour or so, haven't seen it yet.

But I also don't know why Adamek comes in heavier, he looked his best at HW at around 215. Although I think his stint at HW has been mediocre. He seems to be regressing.

The Adamek of old is gone, and I have been saying that for some time now, and with each fight it is becoming more and more apparent. Most of this regression has also been with Bloodworth, who is a mediocre trainer and needs to be put out of the picture... Although at this age, I'm not sure it would change much for Adamek.. the years are slowly catching up to him, he is after all, 36 years old now.. and consistently has fought around 4 times a year... much higher then todays average, and has been in more then his fair share of wars in the ring.. Including one sided beating against one of boxings hardest punchers, Vitali..

I had it 7-5 Cunningham. It was a close fight though and I don't see what all the bitching is about. A robbery is something like Santa Cruz-Cassamayor or Pac-Bradley where the winner wins like 2 rounds.

Lennox won obviously. If it had continued one more round and Vitali didnt KO Lewis in the first few moments, he'd have been blinded. It's called a TKO for a reason.

This was my score on TV. 7-5 for Cunningham. But scoring a fight live is a little different.

Adamek's aggressiveness might make it seem like he did more damage to a sometimes on the ropes / covering up Cunningham. At ringside, much of what you see depends on your vantage points. So you could think live that Adamek won or at least drew.

Morales vs Pacquaio 1 is a 7 - 5 type fight yet if Pacquaio got the decision it would have been a robbery.

Harold Lederman was ringside and scored it for Adamek. Like many other people, he thought Cunningham ran too much in the latter half of the fight.

Of course he ran too much.

Yet, it is better for Cunningham that he didn't get the nod. Otherwise he had to fight Khan Kubrat. Khan Kubrat wouldn't let him ran to the final. Probably jab him to submission. So they did Cunningham a favor saving him for a fight with Khan Kubrat.

Now he has many options at home against Jennngs or Wilder or in Germany, where he is well known, against Charr or Helenius.

bottom line is that it wasn't a robbery, home town decision puts it better

NO it was an absolute robbery. Period. Just like the Chambers fight.

How can a closely fought fight be a robbery? You're as foolish as that dumb ass avi that I want to puke from every time I see your posts. Poor Cunningham the entire boxing world is apparently against him and wants him to lose. What a victim. Maybe Cunningham should put all that gym work and muscles to use and throw a few more power punches in a fight. I'd bet that would turn his fortunes around pretty quickly.
