Well, at the end of the day it's just as much your loss and anyone's, you're being robbed of the most interesting fight in the Heavyweight division in years just like everyone else, don't let your tribalism blind you to the fact this is gonna **** up everyone's day, not just Haye's.

Seriously it's depressing, I was actually looking forward to a Klitschko fight for the first time in like 5 years!

No disrespect to Adamek, I like the guy, but he isn't going to beat Klitschko unless he grows 5 inches in height and manges to put on another 25lbs of muscle. He's a light-heavyweight at the end of the day, and Wlad Klitschko is not a 40 year old Andrew Golota or Vinny Maddalone.

He'll make it a decent fight beause he's a warrior but he hasn't got the strength or power to make Wlad panic like he did against Sanders and Peter, so he can't win. The blueprint to beat Wlad is there, it's just a matter of finding a guy who can carry it out.

Haye's HW highlights include beating an ancient Ruiz, struggling mightily with Valuev and being put on his ass by Barrett. I'm sorry, we're not being robbed of anything here. Haye has had all the hype and zero substance as a HW. Whereas Haye has had 4 fights in nearly 30 months, Adamek has had 5 in under 18. Adamek has been paying his dues and deserves this a lot more.

So this is the way the cookie crumbles, Wlad will fight Chisora (blaah!) and then Adamek and Haye will take on Chagaev and then retire.

Yippikayjee - I was really looking forward to see Haye-Wlad and now this!

Just like Haye ****ed up everyone's day when he chose to fight Valuev over Vitali or Harrison over Wlad? If this Adamek bout is really done and dusted (which we can't be 100% sure of as of yet) then Wlad robbed Haye of the next best opponent in Adamek.

Who's left for Haye if he's "done with the Klitschkos" as he said he was? Chagaev, Holyfield, Mormeck, Valuev rematch?

Don't get me wrong, I would have loved to see Wlad-Haye. Just saying looks like Haye's "I am doing things my way, just how I planned it. I will only fight the Klitschkos right before my retirement so I minimize my risk" strategy is blowing up in his and our face.

I have a feeling the "oh such a genius" businessman Adam Booth will choke on his breakfast if the reports of Wlad - Adamek have any substance.

What big money fight will Booth get together for Haye before his self-imposed retirement before October? Chagaev? Hard to sell fight. Little public interest. And afterwards? Holyfield? Mormeck? Valuev rematch?

The Adam "We plan everything very carefully" Booth express may have been derailed before reaching the final destination.

According to news sources, Wlad's people were already in secret talks with Adamek's as soon as the Haye talks started to go sour over a week ago. The Adamek talks went very smoothly. The only thing that's left to discuss is the TV earnings, which may prove tough because the fight takes place in Poland so Adamek will want a significant share of that.

I will say one thing: Wlad has balls for stepping into Adamek's kitchen. This ain't no German or US genteel stadium. The atmosphere inside that football stadium will be rabid. This will represent the most meaningful boxing match on Polish soil and Adamek's fans will be legion.

This would probably be set under a mandatory defense (WBO) I take it as Adamek is listed as the #1 challenger. If that is the case then Adamek would get 30% of the "purse" (revenues minus costs I guess?) -- so there's the blueprint for splitting the pot.

Well, looks like Wlad has two fights lined up this year whereas the dickhead Haye is busy figuring out what kind of bull**** he's going to feed his Brittarded fans this time around. I'm expecting a 'run from Chagaev' soap opera now to keep Hayehuggers occupied.

Can't say I'm disappointed. I would prefer to see Haye-Wlad though, more competitive in my opinion.

Adamek's got some balls though, I don't give him a great chance after his performance against Grant...but we'll see. He's kept his head down and has earned his shot.

I don't understand Wlad though, if he so badly wanted to knock out Haye...why didn't he consider not taking the Chisora bout just to get at Haye? After what Haye has done over the last couple years, Wlad is very much entitled to move on...but just because Haye messed Wlad around, it doesn't mean Wlad is entitled to do the same...especially when there is a bout the size of this in the balance.

I don't see that but good luck to him nevertheless. This guy is a warrior, gentleman and a few leagues above Haye as a person.

Shame really, Haye is the most athletically gifted Heavyweight in the world I'd say, and as a cruiserweight he was extremely impressive.

The Ruiz win was a decent win, but otherwise his Heavyweight career has been a big let down, but he can't help it if Wlad is a ***** and decided to fight Derek ****ing Chisora instead of him!

Thomas Adamek and Wlad Klitschko is a decent fight, but it's nothing like as big a fight as Haye - Klitschko. Lets be honest, Wlad has just turned down the biggest fight and payday of his career to fight Derek Chisora, a guy with 14 fights, it's pathetic and you shouldn't be celebrating it. Boxing as a whole is going to suffer because of this, **** since the Klitschko brothers became champions the whole boxing world has been suffering, if it weren't for the guys at the lower weights the sport would be doomed.
