That probably because he's been in with iron chinned opponents, and yes Bute has a better chin than Stevenson. He's also not the best Light Heavyweight. Stevenson on the other hand got KO'd by Boone dropped by featherfisted Fonfara and yes even dropped by Bellew even though it wasn't counted. Kovalev/Calzaghe is being saved for Bernard Hopkins.. Pascal will get his chance soon.. Stevenson would beat Kovalev if he ever gets the chance..
I know that there are way too many Stevenson haters on here and Kovalev fans but cmon guys. Seen threads how 50 years old Hopkins will school Stevenson or even knock him out and now this.Pascal isnt very good really.Hes four round fighter,no stamina,no power,no boxing skills. Even if Stevenson is getting old and never fought that good opposition,hes not as bad as some of you think he is really.He has puncher`s chance against Kovaled and like zero chance against Beterbiev,cant rate Ward at LHW yet.
I think Pascal has had the last of his good performances beaten out of him. As most have said, pre-Kovalev I'd probably lean toward Pascal but I think he's done at top tier now.
