Holy **** make this happen. I don't think they'd even need to hire judges for this fight. No way this is going past 6.

Stevenson doesn't last two full rounds with his pseudo slickness.

His power will be irrelevant, Kovalev will put him on the back foot without delay and then just crush him.

This is undoubtedly one of the most fan friendly fights in any division right now. Would be a miracle if it went the distance. I guess you would have to favour Kovalev, but if Adonis lands bombs he can hurt anyone.

I think this fight would make a lot of money and be a guaranteed FOTY candidate.

    Guaranteed KOotY candidate

IMO Kovalev is the better boxer, and would catch Stevenson being reckless. But than again Stevenson has that one punch KO power that makes him dangerous in any fight he's in, so u never know.

Id still lean towards Kovalev though

Quick knockouts aren't usually FOTY candidates...

Hard to predict cause both have insane power. It wouldn't go the distance.

Kovalev is the better boxer, so I root for him.

Both have insane power, but Kovalev can actually box (though some fools will mistakenly think it's the other way around because of Stevenson using his imitation slickness and because Kovalev doesn't have a flashy style, just a technical and efficient but still very aggressive one) - and has about fifty times more punch resistance.

Stevenson didn't exactly blast Don George out that quickly and he does have some chin issues. I wouldn't be too worried for Kovalev. Besides Tavoris Cloud may have something to say about this anyways. Stevenson may very well be a flash in the pan at LHW.

It would be a bit like a modern 175 lb Hagler-Hearns, in terms of the sheer power they both have and the likely intensity of the bout.

Let Stevenson beat Cloud, Kovalev beat Hopkins and take it to Canada!
