Funny fact: Kovalev was celebrating his win in bar and missed his flight(probably drunk too much)

This summer Kovalev wanted to fight Hopkins, but Bernard remained silent.

Sergey's manager Egis Klimas is going to negotiate with Ryabinski about Kovalevs next fight.

I'd have to go with Kovalev by ko. He's a far
better boxer, Adonis has a chance (obviously)
but I believe Kovalev has a decent enough defense
to not get hit with anything crazy and a good
enough chin to take what little he would get
    hit with.

Oh man, I wish I lived in Jersey and happened to be out that night. (after the boxing, of course)

Untrue, Bernard said he excepted the decision of the governing body as
    his mandatory.

kovalev gets beheaded. he is nowhere near as good a boxer as dawson and look what happened to him. kovalev gets caught once and it's lights out drago.

Bernard can say anything he wants, i doubt that Kovalev ducked him.

Adonis has your username, that's it - and not much of it.

Dawson like Judah often loses his focus, he was mentally and phisically destroyed by pillow-fisted 168 pounder. Stevenson's win over Dawson is a bit overrated

    Would Kovalev-Stevenson be this generation's Hagler-Hearns?

No, as it would last about seven minutes less.

The current version of him? No.

Campillo and Cleverly are both superior to Dawson at present.

be beat hopkins convincingly then he lost to ward because he was weight drained to hell. i don't think he is washed up and i think he could beat cleverly and campillo.

So are most comments being posted about Kovalev being awesome or more about Stevenson being over hyped?

I was mightily impressed with Kovalev at the weekend. He looks like he's the real deal but it has to be said Cleverly was poor and lost his ring smarts very early on in the opening round.
