I never said anything about black people. I was just pointing out flashy and impractical things that are popular.

If you feel they apply to blacks, that is up to you.

But since you posted the truck, it has uses. It could be used for pulling or hauling...or smashing smaller vehicles. That car has no practical use.

The flaw is in the fighter not the style, necessarily. Each style or tactic has an application at a particular point and time. There's a time to put combinations together, there's a time to counter and pot shot, there's a time to come forward, a time to fight off the back foot, to brawl, to be "slick", to go for the KO, etc. Which style or tactic one employs depends on the opponent, and the opportunities presented. The best fighters recognize which tricks to leave in the bag, and which to bring out, when, and against whom, and still get the 'W'.

Broner is exactly the type of boring, dispassionate and unappealing boxer that has been enabled by HBO and fits the demographic that is so yearned for by Kery Davis (which is part of the reason why this once-proud franchise has slumped so badly and why his job is thought to be in jeopardy). And his adviser? Yup, you guessed it; the ever-influential Al Haymon, who seems able to pull the puppet-strings on HBO execs as if he were Geppetto.

I can not tell you how infuriating it is to watch these haymon fighters dance around the ring and think they accomplished something. that fight was dog****. to watch the post fight celebration by Broner with Haymon & family is near the bottom of the barrel. it really is.

Just thinking about it this morning about guys like Andre Berto, Chad Dawson and now, Broner, it’s a good thing these guys aren’t firefighters. Those guys have a job where they are supposed to go right into the heat, no questions asked. Well, these guys run from fire at any cost. If they were your local fire department, you’d have a city with a lot of burnt-down buildings. That’s why HBO boxing’s division is burnt to a crisp.

Man absolutely no one likes Broner and his shitty style. That is not a good example of the slick black american style. Good examples of this are: Mayweather, B-Hop, Dawson, Dirrell. Broner is a runner and stunk up the joint. I never wanna see this loser again unless it's against someone his own size that's gonna Knock him the eff out. Only way I'll ever watch Broner's cocky ass again is if he fights someone like Katsidis/ Rios so we can watch him get his head taken off. This guy iand his corner full of wannabe thugs talking smack and dancing while he's being announced are the worst **** in boxing. If you're gonna act like that you better go out and destroy people, instead Broner runs against a smaller man and deserved to lose, what a clown.

He tried to be flashy but really stinked it up, especially when you consider PDL is the type of boxer (slow, forward moving brawler) that Broner should really look good.

Not to mention he got a decision that should have really gone the other way. Though it was tight enough to go either way (except for one judge who seems to be watching Jersey Shore instead of the fight).

my favorite style of fighter are slicksters but this kid was awful. hardly threw anything and deserved to lose to a featherweight. on top of that he had the nerve to be cockier than Mayweather mixed with Naseem Hamed which is great with me and hilariously entertaining if you're gonna back it up but this kid backed it up about as much as Kevin Johnson vs Vitali.

Since this turned into what style is exciting,I have to say defensive/counter boxing is really exciting, just watch Mayweather vs Gatti,Mayweather was fighting like he was possesed there, but I also do agree that to be exciting it usually needs a brawler/slugger.

I don't know why people hate on this fight. I loved it. Those straight rights @ 4 minutes where he's just hitting once and ducking under and circling Baldomir were ****ing incredible. Baldomir had no idea what to do. I feel like Floyd could've done that **** the whole round and Baldomir wouldn't have figured it out.

He was basically disgraceful. I don't think he took a forward step the entire fight, yet had the nerve to talk **** on occasion between rounds after landing 0 significant punches.

Even worse, he had some morbidly obese midget brushing his ****ing hair during the introductions.

For the record after Joe Choynski KO'd Jack Johnson they were thrown in jail. This is where Jack Johnson himself has stated that Choynski taugh him the defensive tactics that he's famous for and allowed him to have such a successful career

If I'm not mistaken Choynski ( who was a polish Jew ) trained Johnson.
