Exciting fight... if I have to, and in the Kirk thread I have to, Pascal on points would be my pick. BTW, who's promoting this? Diaconu's or Pascal's stable? This could affect the outcome of a close decision.
You boys, you boys, I tell you, heart, grit, determination and intensity get underateted at every turn on the forum - when these guys win it is seldom an "accident". One thing is for sure, 168 is red hot at the moment. Wish Pavlik and Abraham would hurry to the dance so Abraham can step up into the mess.
Definitely, guys are far, far too hung up on skills and athleticism these days. Heart and determination are often worth more. But maybe Big Bone isn't one of those dudes, as he said... There were guys on the forum saying similair things about Andrade. What do you think of Andrade v Froch?
I have to go with Pascal by late KO 11th. diaconu will probably scare the **** out of pascal for a bit, then pascal will find his rhythm and some holes and will pick Diaconu apart. BUT i'd love to see a Diaconu win by KO. Go Shark!
Andrade punishes him IMO. While I'd agree that Froch is the more skilled and maybe slightly faster fighter, Librado is just bigger, stronger, busier and far more aggressive than Froch. I don't see this one turning into a boxing match, and if it's an open war, Froch would finally meet someone who's just tougher and stronger than him. Andrade is a beast who ever grows stronger and stronger, Tsypko, an underrated, higly skilled and overall very good fighter couldn't do nothing to hold him back. I don't think I overlook Froch abilities... I just think Bute, a slick, powerful SMW and Andrade, a very effective and strong pressure fighter are being seriously underrated. They are big big SMWs.
Underachiever. A very good fighter who just never seemed 100% mentally and pysically after the Hopkins fights. I don't know where does he go from here, I mean he did everything right vs. Froch and his own phyiscal limitations let him down. To Frochy's credit, he never stopped putting on the pressure and he too grew stronger as the fight went on, but the fight ended disappointing given Taylor's natural gifts and abilities.
