    Got a gift: No
I thought he made JMM reach and look clumsy for 12 rounds, and as many times as he has asked for a rematch with Paq, he has NEVER asked for a rematch with John.

    More skilled then Bronner: Yes
But not nearly as young, fast or powerful. Youth is a huge factor in boxing.

Not for Marquez it isn't...and Broner is still very young, someone techically sound and experienced like Marquez would easily figure him out and take him out..Broner ain't Mayweather, and broner sure as **** hasn't faced someone with half the skills Marquez posseses.

Experirence and skill would be the keys here. And its safe to say Marquez wins bigtime in both departments.

and yes, he got a gift, even without those bull**** lowblow point deductions, Marquez should have won that fight.

This compared with the Mayweather fight, leads me to believe that Broner would beat Marquez in a comfortable decision and possible KO late, just because of styles.

Freddie Norwood was still more skilled than what Broner is now..and You can make a very strong case for Marquez winning this fight.

Marquez has defeated clearly only once in his career, and that was against the best boxer of this era, and fighting him in a weight class that he has NEVER fought at before and is 3 divisions north of his true prime weight. And not to mention that Broner is not even a quarter of what that one boxer is.

Broner beats some can last night and it gets you all excited and now y'all actually believe he beats someone in Marquez' caliber?:lol::rofl:patsch

Since y'all people wanna bring up Marquez' "losses" to boxers, why wont you bring up Derick Gainer, you know the BOXER who was the first to beat Norwood, Marquez defeated him.

Or Casamayor, who may have been past it, but still displayed his sharp boxing skills, and was far more experienced than Broner, and just flat out better. Gets KTFO by Marquez, and Juan being the first to do it.

As Uncle Roger says: Y'all dont know **** about BOXING.

    :lol::!:
The only problem is Norwood was in another level of experience, and the fight was very close, Broner is not at the level yet, going by the De Leon performance Marquez stops Broner is 4 or 5.

****in' Norwood would school Broner, so would the likes of Derick Gainer, and the Chris John of the Marquez fight.

Marquez of course. A lot of people seem to think that just because Broner looks a bit like Mayweather he's as good as him, not even close.

Hey ATG Floyd Mayweather making Marquez move up to 147 couldn't stop Marquez, but Broner who fights just like May would stop Marquez, IN HIS PRIME at 130, because Broner has not only imitated May's style BUT improved it?!!! :rofl

So would Ponce De Leon be considered future HOF? he gave Broner current #1 p4p fighter ATG his toughest fight yet.

That makes Gamboa and Lopez look pretty damn good.

What does Gainer beating Norwood and Gainer getting beat by Marquez prove?

LIke I said style wise I think Broner presents a problem for Marquez because he is gonna make Marquez be on the offensive and I think his power, accurate power counter punching, will have him hurting Marquez badly. That coupled with Broner's solid footwoork, boxing iq, athleticism and hand speed spell a bad night for him. IMHO.

Norwood didn't have that much greater experience than Broner has now when he fought Marquez, at least not at the elite level.

I can pull out crazy matches too for Marquez, but I'll say this, you could easily say that Mayweather shouldn't have been able to beat him because look at his performance as Castillo, but we both know that had no relevance right?

Style make fights and a slick counter puncher, with superior hand speed, athleticism, reach, and a solid defense is going to pose Marquez problems.
